Body Lotion | Hand & Body Moisturizer | 8oz (Rosa Mosqueta)

Aubrey is an excellent company and I'm so glad that they are still here after so many years. It's hard to find companies that have the same integrity to the purity of the products that they use. I used to buy this Rosa Mosqueta Body Lotion all the time from the Co-Op in Santa Monica. When I moved away it was hard to find. So after many years I was excited to see it here on Amazon. Unfortunately the formula appears to have changed. It has a distinct lavender smell now instead of that beautiful subtle rose aroma that I loved so much. For some reason the lavender feels stingy on my skin so I'm not sure I will be able to use it. I don't feel right about returning it though as it's probably my sensitivity and not the company's fault. Another brand of body lotion I tried recently also had lavender and I had the same effect. It might be a good idea for companies to use a smaller quantity of lavender in their skin care products as lavender doesn't normally have that effect if it's used in moderation. Anyway I wish I didn't have to give an Aubrey product only four stars but I am disappointed in their apparent change of ingredients. I wonder why they decided to do that. It was so unusual and lovely before. ..... Later that day I noticed that my skin where I had put the lotion felt softer and smoother. The stinging had subsided earlier. So today I am using a smaller amount and it feels better on my skin...... Update: I've been using this lotion on my hands twice a day now, morning and night, and there is a huge difference in the texture of my skin. I am so happy to say that my hands look years younger! Thank you for this wonderful product. I'm upping this to 5 stars.

I love this moisturizer! Another incredible Aubrey product. It's a great moisturizer, absorbs fast into your skin and has this gorgeous rose smell. You got to buy it.

One of my favorite lotions. The other is the Aubrey Sea Buckthorn. Smooth, creamy lotion, all natural ingredients, no petroleum products, doesn't make my skin break out or cause foaming at the mouth. Truly lovely rose scent with this lotion. I'm not big on scents, but I really love this lotion.

This is a very good product... checked it out on the Skin Deep data base for cosmetics, and it's pretty clean of toxic chemicals, which is why I purchased it. It a rich lotion and has been helping my "winter" dry skin (hands & face). Although I have to mention it has a very string fragrance (says from essential oils), makes me feel like I was trapped in a small room with 10 dozen extremely scented roses! I think if they put half the amount of fragrance it would be a 5 star product. That being said, the fragrance has seemed to lessen a bit now that I am about halfway through the product.

I have been trying to locate this moisturizer for several years and was so excited to find it finally here. Just a great product for dry skin.

The scent is too powerful and not pleasant and has changed from what I remember. The lotion is coming out all watery and liquid, therefore it was a waste of money.

This is a great product from a great company, with all superb ingredients. And I LOVE the smell, and so creamy without being greasy. It's my go to body and hand lotion. Wouldn't be without it.

I have quite dry skin which is a little prone to sensitivity. I must have tried every body lotion going before settling on this as easily my favourite. It's a fabulous consistency; it goes far, rubs in easily and completely solves dryness without any greasiness. I have had no problems of sensitivity since using it and can even apply straight after using a razor. It also smells absolutely divine!The pump is a bit frustrating towards the bottom of the container. I find myself leaving it propped upside down, unscrewing and banging to get the last bit. A tube would probably have been better suited to the consistency. The aesthetics of the packaging would probably fail GCSE design with about 4 different fonts and a naff picture. It does not inspire leaving visible in pretty bathrooms.But the most important thing is the contents, which I have found to be the best available for my skin. At any price range.The amazon price is competitive and in particular the free postage is great. Previously it's been quite hard to get hold of without a bulk order to offset high p&p costs.

I love this body lotion.Its not often that I pay £15 for a body lotion, but I've always liked this company, it is always consistent.Its great on dry skin and normal skin.

intoxicateing aroma this hand and body lotion is the hight of luxery may seem pricey but the richness of this product makes it worth every penny the bottle lasts me about 9 months or longer !!
