I gave my daughter my old one. I didn't know that they made them any more, but needed one when I planned to make black raspberry jelly. I was so excited that I could get another one! It is great to remove the seeds when you line it with cheese cloth.

I swore off making jam because of the intense straining process to get seed remnants etc. out. I decided to try this strainer and it was easy and cut time by 80%. Just get it.

After one use I'm out. Not sure if it is the design or somehow slightly broken before arrival but it is frustrating to use, feels like I need to use kid gloves or it will just fall apart, and seeds get stuck in sharp areas that should come with a warning label.
