Why 5 stars? i knew what i am buying i bought for hacks type purpose. The panels are very good quality and i can detach them to make my custom solar charger for watches, small gadgets. However i will use it under warranty as just powerbank. Then i will remove the solar part :). Solar panels of this quality will come above 1000+ or even 1500. I also have 40w solar foldable panels i use with car charger to usb. it gives fast charging to OnePlus etc phones and they charge fast. Buy this only when you know solar charging of 8w is very slow. Solar panels (not powerbank) may not work for device wanting high current. Powerbank is good and putting in light starts charging. I couldn't see any switch to turn it on off. Buy if you travel, stay in energy lacking situations.

Let's start with the good things. It looks cool and solar panels are of good quality. Fast charging support both ways. Slightly water resistant. Now for bad things. Unlike 20% written on product page, it charges only 15% maximum in one day. I tried this in rajasthan during June so maximum daylight was present during charging. Now when I tried to charge my phone with that 15%, phone charged from 29% to 37%. I was very disappointed and thought that power bank's capacity might just be 5000mah. So I charged it again to 15% with wall adaptor and then charged my phone with powerbank. This time my phone charged from 30% to 55%. This means that when charging with solar power this powerbank is trying to trick us into thinking that it has charged to higher level than it actually is. I tried again charging PB with solar power, it charged to 12% and then I charged it again with wall adaptor till it got upto 13%. I did this to try to confuse the PB. So when I again charged my phone with PB, it unfortunately again got charged by only 6% points. This could have been a very good addition to trekker's bags but company is trying to make fool of us. I hope they will correct this foolishness. I can't return it because window closed while I was testing but I will try to exchange it with service center.

Doing excellent job. It's very useful in travelling and during long powercuts, is best option for adventure tours.

High built quality and good product design. Only problem with this is it charges very very slow in sunlight.

The power bank is not so good the solar plates are not glued nicely . While in direct sunlight the paste came off .

So this is long term review. Ever since purchase I started facing issue. It shows its charged 100% but it drains out quickly & charge percentage shown is also not correct. While charging phone, many times its on 30 or 40% and within 2 minutes it will show 0% & charging will not happen. I complained on Ambrane website after few weeks or months of purchasing, shared my contact details but no one reached out to me. After that I stopped using it & kept it at home, due to my travel job. I restarted using it again now & same issue. All of sudden battery will discharge. My phone won't even charge 50%. Now the product is out of warranty so the company will have excuse. I had chinese solar power bank before this, it worked better than this. I would suggest for trekkers or hikers to not rely on this, better buy 2-3 powerbanks instead of investing on this.
