📚 After a couple of weeks, I've finished reading Princess of Thieves, and this might be my new favourite Twisted Tale book! I just couldn't put it down! I love Disney's Robin Hood, and seeing the story getting a different take here was really interesting! 😄 I love how the author both made something a little different for each character while at the same time keeping the charm and humour of them. She also gave us more context to the character's lifes, and we even got to explore some more settings from the Robin Hood legend. I also like how we got to spend more time in the castle here, too. And while Maid Marian is more like the main character here in this version, and it has that sense of girl power, I don't think it's a problem or overbearing; the story is still making sense and all the characters are getting reasonably attention here and I think both girls and boys can enjoy it. Of course, it's made for the older kids since it can be a little dark and advanced at times, but it's still a very enjoyable read. 🏹 So all in all, this is a great book if you're a fan of Disney's Robin Hood and want something that is a little different, but still is giving respect to the characters and what we love about them. I'm just so happy Disney's Robin Hood even got a Twisted Tale at all, it's amazing! And the author did not disappoint with the story's twist and turns; you will be pleasantly surprised with all that happens! I will definitely reread it! Highly recommend! 💚
