Great set of rails, but wastes a slot.
Love how the rails install, slide, and look. And they hold up my 2U server perfectly fine, even at full extension. The whole rack will tip before these rails bend.Only problem is that it wastes a slot. My server is 2U, but the rails go in the middle. And the brackets included make it so that the rails themselves have to be installed on a single slot, can't put the rails between two slots. So instead of sitting on slots 5 and 6, as I had initially planned, it has to sit in the top half of 5, all of 6, and bottom half of 7. I have the extra space for it, and the rails are really nice, so I'm keeping them. But I do wish it would let me install it between slots. In the pictures, you can see the rails installed with the server pushed in and extended, and also a pic of how it fits in the rack.

Run
Absolutely unusable. The rails force the case to be too wide for a standard rail. The design of the mounting bracket doesn't work with any pre-threaded rails that have a different thread setup. The installation is a mess. I'd consider giving it two stars but it's far to expensive for the paperweight it is.Edit: after some further measurement, these rails might theoretically work if the Rosewill case was 1/8th inch narrower like the manufacturer diagram says. That said, I'm not changing my rating. If I buy manufacturer case and rails the, stuff should work together.

They work, but terrible experience
Like another reviewer noted with his 2U case, my 4U Rosewill brand server case takes up 5U because these rails do not center it within the space it's designed for, so it ends up eating into the space above and below it, leaving gaps.I've been managing IT equipment for over 20 years, mostly with Dell gear, so I've been spoiled with racking servers in less that 5 minutes with their ReadyRails that just click in. That said, I'm not opposed to (nor unqualified for) using generic rails that I have to assemble. However, these were a joke. First off, I'll say that even though these are sold by the same brand that made your server case, they are not made specific to it -- they're the most generic, one-size-fits-most rails I've ever seen. So if you're considering buying these just because the brand name matches, you aren't doing yourself any favors.Sizing the rails to fit your rack posts and your server will be a challenge, so make sure you have easy access to all four posts (if you have an enclosed rack) and plenty of room to set your server where you can work on both sides easily. There are a number of wide slots down the sides that give flexibility in where you'll need to affix them to your server case, but too much flexibility leads to confusion and repetitive effort. So you'll be assembling and disassembling these over and over while you try to figure out the optimal locations for screws -- both on the rack ears and the server case itself. While you're doing this, be prepared to get grease all over your fingers because you'll have to constantly extend and retract the rails to reach certain slots, and no matter how careful you are, you will grab the wrong edge at least once!In the end, I got them installed, and they do the job fine (except for my server not being centered within the 4U). But now that i know these are just ultra-generic rails, I wish I'd looked around for alternatives that might be better (if there are any).

Good Rails
Irecently purchased the Rail Kit, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. First off, the setup was incredibly easy. The instructions were clear, and everything clicked together smoothly without any frustration. As for sturdiness, this kit is built to last. Once assembled, it feels solid and durable, providing a secure and reliable rail system. I have no doubts about its longevity and performance. What really stands out, though, is how cost-effective this product is. You get excellent quality for a reasonable price, which is always a win.Overall, I highly recommend the Rail Kit for anyone looking for an affordable, easy-to-install, and dependable solution. It delivers on all fronts.

There is a reason they are cheap
They are sturdy enough and barely (kind of) fit correctly. Bring a lot of patience or a lot of anger. They will do the job when you get them installed, but their instructions are terrible, so use them as a rough guide. There's a reason they are cheap. Come prepared for battle

Worst server part I've ever encountered in my life
Just... Don't. I use 1 star reviews very very sparingly. This is probably one of like 3 out of a good hundred reviews or more. These are so fragile and hard to install and don't slide nicely. Doesn't come with enough screws for the 4U chassis they designed it for. Literally worse than just getting rack shelves. They bend so easy. I spent hours bending them back in every way I can. Just. Don't.

Not the best, but functional
These rails work, fairly adjustable for depth of cabinet. And work on my rose will server case. Wish they had better cabinet mounting hardware... And wish it used cage nuts
