I love this incense holder! From some of the reviews I read, I kind of expected the glass to be so delicate as to break easily. BUT, I found the glass to be plenty thick enough to not feel so fragile. Of course, it would break if dropped or hit with something hard, as would a tea glass, but I’m not nervous about simply handling it or sitting it down. The metal incense holder fits inside a grove for stabilization and security. It goes in and comes out of the grove with your fingers without having to use any pressure. What I didn’t realize when I ordered it was that the metal incense holder has holes in the top AND the bottom in order to get just the right fit for the stick so it doesn’t lean. Wonderful! My incense sticks are long, so I simply broke off enough of the stick for the incense to just peek out from the top of the glass for easy lighting. I’m really happy with this item; it would make a great not-too-expensive gift for any of your incense-loving co-workers, friends or family. In my opinion, this particular holder would make a better gift for a woman than a man, as I find it to be very feminine.

Best purchase of my life!!!! I haven’t loved something like i do this. I have tried every other one that says it won’t make a mess, but this one took the cake. As you can see in the first picture after it finished burning everything stayed inside. Very sturdy and of good quality, the only thing i would change was if the gold part and the base were magnetic it would make it easier to dispose of the incense without having to worry of it falling out which happens and i have to be careful on holding well before desposing of the incense ash. Besides that it was easy to use and very effective for its purpose.

Absolutely awesome!! this thing is great.I absolutely love the fact that I can choose different sized incense sticks! it holds ash perfectly! and is stunning to look at! my only complaint is that it is not that's sturdy. If you were to bump into it, it would fall over.

I chose this one over the upside down version because some reviews said the upside down incense burns faster. This holder is simple and easy to operate. The oil in smoke will stain the glass wall eventually. However with both sides open like a pipe, cleaning and drying should be easy.

The incense holder is good does the job . I have issues with the glass cover . It can break easily. They don’t even offer to but a replacement glass cover. So if for some reason your glass breaks you will have to buy the whole thing again.. which I’m going to since I can’t get the glass cover. But be careful the glass CAN BREAK EASILY

I found that this creates less mess on my desk. However, when you do the side to clean, you will get the ash on your hands. I think it is very sturdy because I sometimes can knock things over so, the glass being inserted into the base is the best idea. I did not notice the difference in the burn rate. I did notice that I had to clip the stick ends of the incense, but it is a decent size. I believe this model is good for the price.

I thought it was a little expensive for what it is, but it perfectly suits my needs, and I am very pleased with it. I learned that incense lasts longer when lit standing up rather than hanging, so I was looking for a holder that allows it to stand, comes with a glass tube to prevent ash from scattering, and a tray that makes cleaning easy. Many incense holders with glass covers sold on Amazon are designed to hang the incense from above using a clip, but this one allows the incense to be lit upright. It meets all my requirements, and I really like its minimalist design. I’m happy with my purchase.
