I like using Moog parts very rarely ever have had a failure

Truck was in for an alignment. Was told lower ball joints needed replacing. $250 per side. They said upper were fine. I went ahead and ordered upper arms in addition to these lower ball joints as I didn't want to be caught with the truck dissembled just to find out the upper were bad as well. The upper were bad too. I spent about $200 on parts, and changed myself. Saved at least $800. I borrowed a press tool for free from Advance Auto which worked quickly and easily.These parts fit perfectly, and the zerk fittings are a great improvement over Oem.

I received the part as promised. The part was as advertised good price and quality a lot cheaperprice than at auto stores. and delivered to my door Installed the part with ease. I have had this part on my truck about a month with no problems I would recommend this to anyone.I saved $$$$$$$$$$$ .

Moog is a good brand in the automotive suspension world. They are pricier than most but the quality is top notch. Bought them here vs the autoparts store because the autoparts store wanted double the price. You need either a press or a ball joint remover and installation kit. These ball joints come designed with grease fittings for regreasing in the future which is a plus. Note that these ball joints look a little smaller than the OEM ones but that's due to improved design by Moog. Does not affect the installation or performance in any way.

This replaces the lower on my 2006(and later) ford f150 control arm. You will read and people will tell you that you have to buy the entire control arm..not so . Maybe true in the past. You will save minimum $200 by removing and pressing this ball joint into your existing armBarrow special tools from your local parts store and your in business. Avg difficulty for the amateur mechanic. figure all day meaning 12 hours.The product is quality and is made in the USA. I also bought a moog upper-control arm. The upper i could not find a replacement ball joint. , no need, the entire unit is about 55$ and you get the benefit of new bushings that it comes with.

I am a professional mechanic. I installed this in a 2006 F-150 2wd front lower ball joint. Fits great works as expected Moog never disappoints. FYI install is not easy. The whole front suspension has to be disassembled and you will need a good ball joint press. If in doubt take it to a pro.

This Moog K80149 Ball Joint is a direct replacement of higher quality than OE for a 2006 F-150 4x4 front lower. Not sure about the smaller dust boot design but seals the important part. With a OTC type ball joint press, R&R time is less than 5 minutes once the knuckle is removed. It is possible to leave the driveshaft attached to the differential - just pull it from the IWE and hang the knuckle from the upper arm.
