Not bad
We used it to try and remove Ronseal diamond grey garage floor paint that was put down years ago. Some of the paint had been removed over the years for it flaked and became an eye sore. We put down the stuff, covered it with cling film for at least 6 hours plus then power washed it off. The second photo is after the third application and power wash, the third photo is after the 1st application and power washing. It is good and does remove this water based acrylic paint but some is stubborn and may never come away however I’m glad I purchased this and used it for it definitely removed a lot of years old floor paint on concrete. We will shortly be putting on a fourth application and then washing that off but paint removal from concrete is not easy but this has definitely made a difference. Would recommend for this purpose. Update the first photo is after a fourth application in stubborn areas and power wash. Pleased with result I will not be treating anymore, will just coat with Thompsons concrete sealer.

Good product but takes a while.
Doesn't work as described as per instructions but did work eventually. Left to work on wall for a day then used a jet wash.

Works ok on top coat of paint, multiple layers of gloss, you will need to apply again and again
So I bought this, to strip paint from a Victorian window cill, which on its top coat had a matt finish. It will only remove 1 layer of gloss per time, if you have like my Victorian window cill, maybe 10-15 coats of gloss on top of eachother, you have repeat the process below, 10-15 times. 1. Apply the stripper 2. 45 mins or so later, maybe longer, strip off with a tool 3. Clean the surface with warm water and for it to dry through 4. Do a light sanding with some silicon carbide paper, then repeat the above Its really time consuming, and I would prefer something more powerful to really lift off as many coats of old gloss in one go, so for me, this product is not great its basic, but as Ive not tried any others, I cant comment on comparability. So Im about 1/3 used of the 2.5 litre container, but still have maybe 5 more coats of gloss to go. Ive ordered an orbital sander now, after googling I heard this is an effective way of stripping old paint from masonry, but I cant let you know just yet if its any better. I hope you find my review useful, from my side its fair, I cant sadly say this product is anything more than basic for it does, there is no wow factor for my use, where I could label this as something special. The pics, one shows the masonry finally revealing itself, tht has had about 10 repeats of the above process The other one has had about 6, and as you can see there is a beige gloss revealing itself beneath the white, this continues about 10-15 layers deep.

Like nitromorse on steroids
I ordered 5lrs as I didn’t expect much, thought I might need more than it said. I applied per instructions in a thick coat and let it work it’s magic, it didn’t bubble up as I thought it would do but I could see the paint changing colour so I knew it was working. After about 1 hr on the stone work I decided to give it a scrap and see if the paint would come off, as the stone wall was uneven the scraping technique didn’t work so I used a wire brush. The wire brush technique mixed the remover and paint together creating a white sticky rubbery substance. The next stage was to get it all off the stone work, I decided that it was a big area and a sponge and soapy water as described by the label was not going to work so I proceeded with a power washer. This worked well and started removing all the sticky stuff . Little did I no, but I ended up with a semi clean wall but a messy window , fence, slabs and the neighbours slabs too , coved in a sticky white paint substance. I soon washed the area but i was covered in it ! I would definitely recommend using Google’s and a face mask as it is very strong in smell and would probably burn your eyes out. And I would definitely recommend polythene the whole area to keep the mess to a minimum. I will need to re coat the wall again to get rid of the areas west the paint was thicker. But I still have another 2.5 Ltr to use so all is good. Would 100% recommend using this product, it removes stubborn paint from masonry work like it says .

Works on brick with no stain, just clean bricks.
Very happy with this product. Was quoted £500 for this to be professionally removed. This took 2 coats to remove with a 140 bar jet wash from screwfix. Overall time applying, waiting and removing took 6hrs. I waited the minimum of 1hr for the product to start to pickle the paint before i started the removal. The 2.5L done roughly 4 sqr meters twice and had 1/4 left over, applying generously.

Utter rubbish
This simply doesn’t work. I used one full 2.5lt bottle on this wall and it barely scratched the surface, even after leaving it for a whole day and using a power washer to remove the product. I do not deter easily so I got another canister and re applied, this time using even a thicker layer, covering it with cling film, leaving it to work for over 36 hours and then using a power washer to take the product off. I lost £70 and hours of my life that I’ll never get back.
