Fun
Brilliant for teaching children how to use the toilet. Sound effects and positive feedback from voices really helps.

Helped a tentative toddler
My 2 and a half year old had previously used a potty but had suddenly started becoming very upset and refused to sit on it, so we put it away with the idea of trying again later. He would eventually sit on it fully clothed but was really upset if asked to use it. We looked online together and found this. He liked that the face made it look like a snowman, and he loves singing and dancing so the playing music is a win. It arrived on an evening after he had gone to sleep but the first thing he did when he woke up was ask for his snowman toilet. After a couple of days going bare bum at home he quickly got the idea and hasn't used a nappy since for a wee. A week and a half later I still use pull ups because he has irritable bowel and I don't want him to get upset if he has an accident but his nappies have all been dry, even on an night, and he has started doing poos on it too after initial hesitancy. He will now use standard potties at nursery, as well as his original potty here. I know he would have reached that stage eventually anyway, but the toilet singing every time he uses it makes him chuckle and has definitely massively boosted his confidence. The potty is easy to empty and the seat fits nicely on our family toilet, and he loves the toilet roll holder on the side. The splash guard is very useful too, and he can lift it himself. The hole of the seat is on the smaller side so we have to make sure he shuffles backwards or forwards accordingly, but he's exceeded what I thought we'd be doing at this stage so I honestly can't fault it.

This overpriced potty is incredible and worth every hard earned pound
Wow, wish I was commission to sell these as I've practically had several other parents now order these from our daughters childminder! Expensive and I was reluctant to buy, I was watching the price here on Amazon and it was bouncing around from £38 to £28. I managed to strike lucky and paid about £29. Still expensive for a darned potty but blooming heck we were all potty trained done and dusted in two days. The other parent friends I mentioned have tried ours and have been delighted. Ok so now I've said how great it is let me explain how it works, apart from the obvious! It's slightly higher than a traditional potty which must be more comfortable. Being as I have a girl I was able to remove the splash guard, this is the stick up bit of moulded plastic you get in standard potty and is apparently a splash guard designed for boys. No don't worry I never knew this previously either, if you did then apologies you are more cleverer than me! The child then goes, sets off the sensor which then does it's singing, it's not very loud and if there is other background noise you may struggle to hear it. My daughter loves it and will use tissue or baby wipe with my help, then put the lid down and use the pretend flush. I then take lid off, remove the inner portal, empty and clean. There is a pull out bit that you can hang a toilet roll on which is a nice touch but clearly the designer never had a toddler like mine. If I left a roll on there it would be wrapped around the house within seconds, so I simply leave it within its recess and not use it. I did wonder if my little girl would struggle using a normal toilet which doesn't sing but no, since using this she will use a baby seat insert on big loo, be held by me over a public loo and use a basic potty which we keep in the car boot. If you are in a position to shell out for this, please do you won't be disappointed.

Great potty! Two things to consider!
I am currently using this potty so haven’t tested all the features fully like using the seat on the big toilet and to be honest I’ve purchased a seat for the big toilet separately from another brand as I like them to fit tight so there’s no movement from the seat and so it feels secure, that way they don’t worry about falling down the hole (I had this problem with my oldest) haha...First of all I just want to say this potty has worked wonders! My little girl loves it and after a week of potty training she was using it! She’s 21 months, can easily sit on and off it by herself although a slight down fall is that there is no grip at the base of the potty so if it’s on wood flooring or tiles it does slide about. This is a bit annoying but not to much of a problem for us and you can always prop it against a wall I guess. For this reason, for sturdiness I would give it a 4/5, everything else is sturdy and well made. The only other thing that I dislike about the potty is the grooves in the bowl that catches the wees and poos. I’ve attached a photo and put arrows so you can see the grooves I am talking about. When your child wees it’s fine and very easy to clean! However if she/he poos it can be a bit of a pain! It does go into the grooves and this makes cleaning more difficult. I guess it’s a minor but if you’re slightly OCD like me, this is annoying (I have found that scrubbing the grooves with a small old paint brush and some flash with bleach removed everything though!).Overall I would definitely recommend this potty for anyone considering a potty to train their little one on!What I like most about this potty is the music it makes once your little one has been to the toilet, it lets you know they have been and my little girl loves to cheer when she hears it, it’s very encouraging! Lots of people said it’s quiet but I think it’s okay!Even though it has two slight downfalls for me this doesn’t outweigh all the positives and the fact that it’s done the job and my little girl is now fully potty trained in just under 2 weeks after a reluctant start initially haha!Good luck.

Game Changer for Potty Training
We were recommended the sing along potty after our 28 month old started potty training and would use the toilet if we told it was time, but without our prompts would just go on the floor. She would say ‘I did a wee wee on the floor’ and we would ask ‘where does wee wee go?’ She would reply ‘in the toilet not on floor’. Anyway fast forward to the arrival of the sing along potty and she hasn’t had an accident. She even got out of bed and took her ‘bedtime nappy’ off to wee in the night! Hoping the novelty doesn’t stop. Recommend to any parent struggling with potty training!
