Rubies Young Heroes Child's Dress Blues Costume

My 8 year-old son wanted to be a Marine for Halloween, just like his big brother. My 11 year-old daughter wanted to be a Soldier, just like her older sister. I bought this costume and it was a bit big in the pants and belt but was an easy fix. The quality was good and now it is used to play boot camp. Both kids received compliments and several negative comments on the costumes. I don't care what others say, these were awesome costumes, of real heros. ALL military personnel are heros. I would recommend this costume to any kid who has an American dream to join our military and protect our country. We support ALL our troops. God Bless.

The hat was disappointing, but the pants are very long I had to roll them up and I had to add an extra hole to the belt. My sun has on clothes under outfit.

I picked these because they are super cute, they’re actually as cute as the picture. The only problem was that the little jackets came in a really small size and the pants came in very long.

Uniform was very sharp except for the hat. The visor was peeling apart and did not have a good overall shape. The belt was nice except for the fact that it nearly stretched twice around my grandsons waist.

The jacket is super cute. However, the sizing is way off. My son normally wears a boys small 5-6 shirts and we got a medium. The jacket fit him around but the sleeves were long but doable. The pants though.... I can fit them. They are huge for a boy's medium. We had to alter them. The hat is ridiculous. Nowhere near fits his head nor my 3 year olds head. Too small. I bought a cheap captains hat and it worked a lot better. Belt was too big even for me but easy to fix. Overall too expensive for all the alterations it needed. Very cute end result though.

Son is 11 and want to go and be a marine! Costume came in and shirt fit perfect but pants were way to long so had to hem. Hat was also to big, could fit on adult head no problem. He had fun and got a lot of compliments last night for Halloween.

I ordered a size Small. I received a Small in the top but a Medium in the bottoms. This is for a baby turning 2 in a couple weeks and the pants almost fit me (5 foot woman). I reported this and they are going to send a replacement and I will return the mixed up order.The material is a bit thin but I do like the details and buttons on the top.Giving 2 stars for the inconvenience and thin material. Thankfully the order will arrive in time for my event, just hoping the pants fit.
