I bought these to suspend my Samsung 990D's rear surround speakers. They worked out perfectly! They're pretty sturdy & I'm very happy with their performance.

Stands are easy to assemble and are stable however, 42" height is insufficient to be behind many reclining sectionals. I added an extension rod to raise it 10"

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I normally don't write reviews but this item was horrible. The surround speakers are wobbly and all over the place. The metals have a plactic thread so the screws can never the tight enough to keep the speakers stable. It also says they are designed for samsung Q series but they are not. False advertising Build quality: Horrible Ease of installation: Easy.

I bought these to go with my Samsung surround sound. These stands fit the Q series surround perfectly. The cable feeds through the stand, so there are no hanging cables, and they discreetly fall into the setting. They were easy to put together, and the build quality is good. I think for the value they are a good buy and complete the surround experience for the rear speakers; they stand perfectly at ear level while sitting in theater-style seating.

Did not work well with Samsung Q990F speakers. Assembly was not easy. The holes in the rod was not large enough to fit the speaker wires through them.

Speaker stands are very sturdy,easy too assemble,look great,and the price is reasonable. Very happy with this item.
