I have a 14 year old TB mare who has been in a breeding program in the past and had three foals. When she comes into season, she will tease to anything that breathes, and has even peed at/on me several times. She will strike and squeal almost unpredictably, and is not herself. She also began scalding her legs because she was urinating for mares and geldings in her paddock.After starting raspberry mare, I have not been able to tell when she is in heat, unless I watch her interact with her “boyfriend” out in the paddock.
