Just popped my first 5 pieces! Not bad. I happen to like the flavor! Pine & citrus . . . over an hour & still going strong. Took the picture and it was crunchy when I put it back in my mouth. Gets a little crunchy if I mouth breathe. Not a fan of that, but it's not a quality thing, just a testament to the fact that I tend to run cold. I took a picture so you can see what 5 pieces will really net you. A lot of the reviews I read mentioned 5 pieces, but dang! I'm recommending 8-10 to get a normal-sized wad. I'm not looking to get a chisled jaw. I just want something to do with my mouth because I have a pretty idle job. Sometimes I get dry mouth & I'm tired of sucking on water or soda or coffee. I'll try and update after a few shifts, but so far it's doing what I need it to. Good flavor, something to chew when bored & keeps mouth from going dry. Also helps focus on nasal breathing as opposed to the mouth breathing I'm trying to get away from. Definitely recommend to anyone!

So I'm looking for top grade chewy gum like pebbles. Thinking what the heck when I first got it. So I tried it, kinda feels you're putting gravel in your mouth for a few minutes, lol then the difference comes in to play. It turns into a waxy piece and you do what it's designed for, chew. And chew. It's a cool experience. Yes helped in the chewing. But another expected surprise us how clean it makes my teeth feel afterwards. I wouldn't make it a habit but your are so clean from chewing on this, you really wouldn't have to brush. Flavor is not sweet or flavorful, it tastes like wax resin would taste. I think that it does somehow clean bad breath, like cleans your mouth, or maybe it is the saliva generated when chewing, I'm not a scientist or dentist. But it helps chewing, strengthening my jaw, with a weird flavor but not bad, neutral really, you can reuse it. I do it for about 20-39 minutes before bed or mud afto in lieu of Abad food craving, lol. Itt takes your focus off unnecessary snacking. My jaw had improved, my teeth fell extra clean after and it's a good time killer.

I am disappointed that they have changed this product without mentioning it and utilizing the same reviews from before. This is my 4th time purchasing. The first 3 times, I received small pebbles of pure mastic gum. I would pour about 1/2 tsp in my hand and toss it into my mouth. It would take some time to allow the pebbles to soften a bit and start chewing. They started out crunchy and ended up as wax. The flavor was very pronounced and not especially pleasant, but I knew it was authentic. If I took the ball of wax out of my mouth and set it aside, it would harden again. This new formula contains gum sized pieces, still rock shaped (artificially, I'm sure). They are pliable, the taste is barely detectable, and once I start chewing it, it gets all stuck in my teeth. It clearly has other ingredients added to it. I had already switched from Jarrow capsules to this product because Jarrow did the same thing. They changed to tablets without letting the consumers know, and they kept the positive reviews for the capsules, even though their product was no longer effective. Very disappointing. I will be returning this product and finding another brand. Again.

The piney, resin-like flavor may be unusual at first, but it quickly becomes enjoyable, especially if you appreciate traditional Mediterranean ingredients. I love the long cultural history behind it, and the quality is excellent. It works wonderfully for chewing as well as in culinary uses like baking or making sauces. A great product if you’re looking to explore authentic Greek flavors!

This small jar has tiny little pieces in it- at first I was thinking that was a bit of a pain but after a few uses came to realize it lets me choose exactly how much I want at a time so there's no waste. I find that putting it in hot water to touch makes it easy to get the very find sand off the outside. It reminds me of pine resin a bit: I can remember eating the inner bark as a child. The taste is very similiar, but a bit milder than pine. When I am chewing on it, it gets soft, but if I open my mouth it will get colder and hard, but when warmed it will return to a soft state again. I got it for my gums, and they have been feeling better since I've been chewing it. It seems to be so sticky it just pulls gunk off teeth, but then it has antiseptic qualities as well.

This gum is very small when It came. And it taste really bad, I can’t really describe the tasted but it’s overall not good. But the part of the chewing is good.

First thing...warm it in your mouth before you bite down on it. Mild flavor. If you like chewing 'hard gum' then this is for you. I was worried that it would mess with my crowns and tried it with beeswax but it just fell apart and chewed into nothing. Tried with a piece of natural gum, same thing. So, I just decided to jump in and try it alone. WARM IT UP before biting down on it. Otherwise it will stick to your teeth in a bad way. I've been chewing it for a few days now. I like it. It sure gives your jaw a workout. I'm hoping that it will also help my tummy issues. Time will tell. I have chewed it and set it aside for later and it was fine...gotta let it warm up again. Chewed it while having my coffee, it gets softer for a couple of seconds. Chewed it while having room temperature water and it got hard again for a couple of seconds(let it warm up again!) Oh, in case I forgot to mention...let it sit on your tongue for 10 seconds to Warm It Up.

Exactly as desribed. Have not had the clumping issue and I still have after >1 year.

It was all clumped together But o was able to use it.
