This wonderful product is doing such an amazing job with helping my 10 year old cat with his constipation problems....I have to say that I am truly impressed! For about the past year off & on he had been having a really difficult time pooping....lately the problem had happened almost daily and his straining, growling, and cries in the litter box had been truly heartbreaking to hear. This past year we had tried several other types of products to try to help him, but nothing really made a significant and lasting difference. Unfortunately going to the vet would be very expensive so we were looking for an alternative solution on our own. I decided to research products here on Amazon & this one had the most positive 'verified' customer ratings plus the price is very reasonable. So we ordered this and we have been using it for almost a week now by putting a dropper full into his wet food daily (he weighs 20 lbs) and it must taste good enough because he eats his food just fine with it in there. It has worked pretty quick for him since within several hours of first using it he has been passing stools with no problems whatsoever. He looks so much healthier now and he must feel much better too because he is running around and playing more again which is so great to see....he really got out A LOT of poop and he is not so bloated up or straining, crying & growling in the litter box anymore. I thank God for this product and the company who makes it....this has truly been the answer to our prayers through a very stressful time! One other note to touch on....we are now switching to pine pellet litter in a pellet sifting litter box because after doing some research I have found that "clumping litter" especially clay based can possibly cause bowel obstruction in cats...it gets on their feet in their toes and the dust gets on their coats so when they groom themselves they could actually ingest enough that it could actually "clump" in their bowels and cause or worsen constipation. I did not know this before and hope more people become aware of this as well....so for our cats it will be non-clumping natural pellet based litters from now on (pine, wood or paper-based) in a sifting litter box specifically for pellet based litter (Amazon sells natural pellet based litters and pellet sifting litter boxes as well!) I really hope my review helps other people who have cats who may be experiencing constipation problems as well....wishing good health for all of our precious fur babies!Update from website review for this product: I order this Cat Constipation Relief several times a month for my cats because IT WORKS!! Before we discovered it, we had tried many other meds & alternative solutions, but none of those worked. I searched Amazon for something else to try and found out about this Cat Constipation Relief and after reading so many positive verified reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try and I ordered a bottle. Well, to say I am impressed is an understatement....within a couple of hours my cats were able to poop and weren't straining....no more pitiful cries & moaning coming from them in the litterbox! We have been using it for several months now and it never fails to work....my cats are happy & healthy again! I never want to be without this amazing stuff ever again and now I make sure we stock up on it. We tried this for a senior cat with severe constipation. He had episodes of straining, panting, crying, and fainting trying to poop. We were afraid he would need surgery. But we tried this and it was effective. It takes two droppers every night, mixed with some wet food, but he likes it and it does the trick. He's happy and playful, and much more comfortable using the litter box.

This stuff WORKS!! thank God! I had noticed my cat hadn't pooped in the box for a couple of days! Oh no! I got this stuff and after a day and a half! POOP!! PHEW- I gave her about half a vile (she's about 12 or so pounds) twice a day yesterday and a full vile today and Boom and almost as awesome She didn't even notice it in her food and consumed it easily!! Which I was worried she's such a picky eater and even takes her flea medicine out of her tuna and hides it lol! Thank U I was super worried about her- prob going to make this a weekly routine! WORKS

My cat was given lactulose 2.5ml with OM purina food. Once his lactulose was discontinued he started not having soft stools they were more pebbles. So I got him this to help soften his stools. I give it to him 2 times a day every 8hrs bc he weights about 15lb. So I do 0.5ML sometimes a little over the line . And is been helping him be consistent and have large stools. But I do have to give it to him 2x a day.I also saw that cascara sangrada is toxic to cats in a review here and Google says it too. I went online to find info but not sure how it is toxic. I couldn't find info on that but I seen a vet website called NVH is has a similar product and ingredients it is more expensive with peppermint oil [which i thought it was toxic to cats too ] & cascara sangrada , its made by a vet and she explains the benefits of the ingredients which were similar to this product. So based on reviews and that other product with similar ingredients explaining benefits I decided to go with this one because it would get here in 2 days and was less expensive. My cat wasn't picky at all so taste wise and smell looked fine.

Helping our cat poop a little better!

Saved me time and money; Because we allowed our elderly female cat, Misty, to lounge around the house caused her to have less mobility and time to forage for grass for her digestion. After using suggested dosage, she’s doing well. She now meows to go outside and eats regular grass.

There doesn't seem to be any quality control with this product, I bought it twice and it seemed to sort of work it had a certain smell and was dark in color, then I got a bottle that I am sure is just water no smell at all and almost clear. Now looking for another alternative
