BoschProfessional 1x Hand Protectors (for Combination with Auxiliary Handle, Accessory Small Angle Grinder, Large Angle Grinder)

This is a very welcome safety accessory that ought to be standard issue. It provides protection to the hand holding the steadying handle. Otherwise there is the possibility of injury in various ways as the grinder moves as it operates. They aren't stocked everywhere, so this was a pleasant surprise.

I feel safer now when using my angle grinder.

Just right and how I wish I had discovered it sooner. Bosch should include this as standard. Failing that the supplier does an excellent service.

Bought this product to protect my hand whilst using angle grinder with wire brush attachment as recommended by Bosch. Works ok little on the tight side on space between handle and the protector when using gloves.

It works, but it's very tight to your fingers.

Wider than I expected and fairly solid, but in use it limits the space between the handle and the disc guard so there's not much room to get your hand around the handle, especially if you are wearing thick gloves (the protector fits under the screw-in handle supplied with the grinder).

So simple an idea easy to use and Bosch quality

This thing is very small. You would certainly lose a pinky finger in case of kick-back, as this item is very short and would not protect a whole hand on the screw-on grip. Notice the comparison between the actual in the photo and the images in the product listing. I see some potential creative PhotoShop work there in the listing to make the item look longer than it actually is. I have never been disappointed with Bosch products, which makes me wonder about the authenticity of this item, too.I did not return the item owing to thoughtful reasons and had initially posted a relatively kind two-star or three-star review, but I downgraded this review to one star as my initial review was rejected for reasons unknown and/or illogical.
