Mfg date is 05/20/20. today is 04/21/20. are they still good?

I always keep a rule of thumb that they are good until the expiration date. Then I throw them out. I have asked my doctors and they tell me drugs have a standard expiration date of one year but they usually last two years. I have taken drugs that were expired two for two months that still worked. The probiotics are dried and bacteria have been revived that was after a thousand years old. If they are expired and dead then my opinion is that they just won't work. If your symptoms don't improve then buy a new lot.
