I ordered 4 different sets of different construction cars in different brands I am always looking for a durable quality for cheap. This is the best deal! Majority of the truck is metal besides the moving pieces for the same price as all the cheap plastic sets. Plus comes with a great book and extra stuff.

My three-year-old son is really into construction. We have to pull over and watch when we see crews working on roads or houses... He just can't get enough of construction stuff. And he knows all the names of all the different kinds of trucks.He freaked out when he got this! He loves all ten trucks. He especially loves that he can play with a truck while reading/learning about it and hearing it too! This really is an awesome set.The book is a touch loud, which he thinks is great. Of course. And it's not so loud that it bugs me. And. . . Best of all. . . The book turns off! Some of these sound books have no "off" button. This one does. Yay! If it gets to be too much, I can discreetly turn it off and blame it on "magic." That won't last long--he's gonna figure it out soon. But I'll take what I can get.I would highly recommend this set to anyone with children who love construction. The trucks are well-made, and the book is great.

This kids construction set is just fabulous!! The set has 10 construction vehicles plus some plastic cones, men, and signs. The vehicles are a mixture of metal and plastic and have moveable parts which may raise/lower/spin, etc. The hardboard book is sturdy and large. It's easy to turn the pages and each page clearly shows which button to push to get the correct sound. The sound buttons are easy enough to press but I did have to press right in the very center of the round picture and not around the edge. It does have an on/off switch on the back and the button cell batteries are replaceable by removing a small screw. The volume is loud enough to easily hear it but is reasonable. The volume is not adjustable. The box contains appropriate warnings for dealing with spent batteries and the toy is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. This set looks exactly as shown in the ad pictures but the size is better than I expected for both the book and the vehicles.

This set consists of 10 pieces of construction equipment, some workers and warning signs, and a board book that explains what work each machine does. The board book has a row of sound buttons on the right, one to match each of the machines. I had a lot of fun examining each little construction machine. For example, the dump truck bed lifts, and the back flap opens. Scoops pivot, and booms lift up. Each piece rolls and has one or more movable parts, so youngsters will enjoy exploring their function. The machines are a mix of light-weight metal and plastic. The very sturdy board book devotes one sentence to each machine, which parents will need to read for their child. Then the child finds the sound button on the right to match the machine and presses it. I wasn’t impressed with the sound feature of the book as so many were very similar, but little kids will enjoy the racket — parents and grandparents not so much. Overall, the book is targeted for toddlers/preschoolers, but slightly older children will also enjoy the construction machines.

I cannot rave enough about this iGRATENS Construction Book With Sounds. This book is beyond amazing. It is set up in the manner that each page describes a specific machine that is used in the product of a building. The pictures are so vibrant, the images truly look like each individual vehicle and the sounds for each page are spot on. What I love are the trucks that were created to resemble so accurately and to a tee each piece of equipment. I have watched my son take this book and read it multiple times using the plastic vehicles provided to mirror the true story and create new construction scenes with the plastic men and road signs provided. The quality of this item is undeniable. With a super thick binding and quality replicas of each vehicle the item is not apt to break anytime soon. For me at has survived quite a bit of abuse.

Our 3-year-old toddler has enjoyed this book and its construction toys a lot. With the book, he could learn the words and play at the same time. The book can be brought with him when we go out and we put the cars into a big ziploc. Overall, this set is a good value for the price range of sub-$25 and would make nice birthday or Christmas gift.

This is a great product because it combines a book with sounds and the toys, so it adds a lot of complexity here. The toys also have moving parts. Our little one went crazy for this set and it was great because of his love for all things construction! There are some signs and other little, little pieces -- so we took those away! We also have a younger child who that stuff is a dangers for sure. Overall, this was a really really REALLY great find and we will likely purchase some for holiday gifts. Definitely a great thing!

I got this construction work vehicle toy set and companion book from the iGRATEN store for my almost-two-year-old boy. He loves playing with the cars and hearing the sounds. The toys are sturdy and a great replica of the real type of vehicle they represent. The companion book has great images and the pages are thick, not easily damaged or ripped by young toddlers. This would make a great gift! I am pleased with this set of toys and I would recommend it to a friend!
