Better than plastic, but very loud when chopping.
I like that I can dishwash it, but it’s loud when I cut on it and the little foot pads fall off all the time.

Perfect for my table top
I needed something to protect an antique sewing machine cabinet that I am using in my kitchen for an island and this tempered glass is perfect. Protects and allows the beauty of the wood of my cabinet to show through.

thinner than .25"
This is not .5" thick it is 3/16" thick - I paid more than other options which stated (probably truthfully) to be thinner than 1/2" - I will probably return this

Definitely tempered glass!
Definitely tempered glass! I dropped a heavy bowl at a weird angle and it shattered but mostly stayed together. Very easy to clean up and completely my fault. I just ordered a new one since I have loved it for over a year!
