Quality and a great price
No arch support per se but I was expecting that and bought some quality innersoles to replace the ones that the shoes came with. I walk between 8-10 miles a day and I wear out shoes like nobody’s business. It was getting pretty expensive to replace shoes every few months. I have several pairs of Columbia snow boots and I find that they are well made so I thought I would try Columbia hiking shoes. I specifically wanted waterproof shoes. I purchased 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size to accommodate the replacement innersoles as well as to be able to wear thick socks. I have only worn them for a 1.5 mile walk to get my mail but they are quite comfortable. Lots of room in the toe box which is a must for me. These shoes have a bit of a stiff sole but I prefer that in my shoes. I think these shoes are going to be fine for my walks when it is raining. They are well made with no lumps or bumps or stray threads. They are a fraction of the price of high end hiking/walking shoes. I am quite happy with my purchase

Columbia Delivers Quality
I was hesitant to buy this brand online because there are only certain brands that I know will fit my feet. These are great and I have had no problems with fit or quality. They are comfortable and I am happy that I was able to purchase them at a sale price. If you want more arch support, you need to add inserts. I use them as an everyday shoe, not hiking trails. Disclaimer: For some reason, they seem to squeak a little when walking. It's only annoying if you are walking inside a totally quiet building.

Very comfortable, not completely waterproof
Love these shoes. Light weight, extremely comfortable, hiked 20km the 1st wear and no problems. Not waterproof, kind of water resistant. Look nice. Recommend 🇨🇦

Good option for casual hiker
Very comfortable. No blisters while hiking for 5 days in Banff. Lightweight but supportive.

Great Quality 😃👍
Great Quality! It is a challenge to purchase shoes these days. Either poor quality materials, wrong sizes or the difficulty of shopping online for a product guided by the picture. These hiking shoes were a total success. I really like them, they are comfortable with their original inserts. Although, I did swap the inserts for the orthopedic ones. They keep my foot stable, the material quality is 😃👍. So happy with my purchase.

Super comfortable walking shoes!
Such comfy walking shoes, very durable. I walk several miles daily and I’ve never had any issues with these, sporty looking and can’t say enough how comfortable they are. Great shoes!

Nice looking, but run small and narrow; size UP
I saw these initially in a shoe warehouse in 11M (my typical shoe size is 10W, but I’ve also worn 11M or 11W, depending on the shoe/sandal style and fit.) I bought them to try on at home with athletic socks and my orthotics. The 11M was too cramped in the toe box, even without my orthotic, and my toes cramped up! - so I couldn’t assess if this was the correct length. Returned. Saw these in stock on Amazon - in Wide sizes. (Better price, too!) Tried the 11W. They were plenty wide and roomy in the toe box, and accommodated my orthotics - but felt a bit too LONG. Didn’t want to trip in them. So I tried again, in 10.5 Wide! - which, per the size chart, should have worked. Strangely, the shoe felt narrow like a Regular (although marked 10.5 Wide), and the toe box felt low, short and cramped. (Maybe it was tagged wrong?) I don’t know if this style of hiking shoe has manufacturing variability issues, or if it’s just my feet! But these hiking shoes definitely run small and low in the toe box, and narrow - even in a full size larger than my typical shoe size. Am trying to decide if I can live with the 11W, or should just give up on this style altogether. It’s too bad, because these hiking shoes look ideal for casual hiking and walking, look good, and are affordable.
