My son and I had a great time putting these together and they worked perfectly they way we wanted them. It took about 45 minutes to assemble, and it was good knowledge for my 7 year old to learn how things work and how to put them together. I will 100% be looking to buy more stem toys like this in the near future.I would say be careful with it, the wood is very thin. So around the antenna area it is easily snapped. After a good build time it only took about 10 minutes for my son to snap that portion off and tell me he doesn't know how he did it.For the price i would 5 out 5 recommend this product.

My 9yo son enjoyed putting these together. the overall quality leaves a little bit to be desired but they do work and they are possible to put together with little to no skill.

These worked over 4 blocks away! We were just expecting to use them around the house and our backyard but tested how far they could go and couldn't believe how far these went. We've only had them for a week but very happy with them. They sound good too and the kids had fun building them.

Got these for my boys, ages 14 and 15, but both autistic, so around 2nd/4th grade level. Grandpa helped them a lot to put these together. They have held up great and sound surprisingly good for the size and for being a kids toy. Just wish the instructions were a bit better to understand

Building these was very fun, nice to let kids see how items are built and how they work.Unfortunately reception issues popped up within the first day, you can talk from Walkie #1 to Walkie #2 though you cannot communicate from Walkie #2 to Walkie #1 (it is just static).Overall a fun concept though not being able to change reception channels hurts.

This is a second hand report from the giver but when I was there at Christmas dinner they were using it and having great fun. 11 and 13.
