These are very nice and actually stainless steel. I was skeptical due to the price and fully expected them to have rusted from being washed in the dishwasher. Surprise! They came out gleaming. I've used them once and they worked great. I made crumpets for the first time ever. If you want a fun cookbook by a charming author I'd recommend Bakes and Wee Treats by Jonny Murphy. It's only available in the Kindle version in the US right now, or you can preorder a hard copy. I've read too many Irish/British murder mysteries to have never had a crumpet! His Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread is also a winner. Next up, homemade English muffins! All made possible by these useful little gems. They washed up equally as well after I used them.

I cook a lot. I was looking for a piece like this to make my daughter a ring of mango slices. I also used them to make a large scrambled egg patty for a breakfast sandwhich.

These are great for forming "gourmet" salads, desserts, etc. The product can be removed easily at serving time. Prepping it with a thin coating of olive oil, etc. can help. Size is not large but good for medium-small salads, desserts, etc. Very easy to clean. No problem in the dishwasher.
