Great support, love the removable splint
We bought this when my 35lb cavalier sprained a muscle in his front left leg while rough housing with his sister. My poor boy was limping and crying because he couldn’t walk more than 2-3 steps without laying back down. After inspecting him and making sure nothing was broken we consulted with his vet and they recommended a brace to ease the pressure. We found this one and were hopeful that it’d help him, otherwise he’d have to go back to the vet for further examination. This worked wonders and provided the much needed support to his leg. The first day Lucas was unsure and continued to lay down majority of the day with the brace on, but after a little bit of coaxing he started to walk a bit more. By the second day, he was able to lightly play and do a very short walk and by day 4 he was running around and happy to play fetch again. We used the brace for 5 days total and he’s back to running and playing like his old self again. We enjoyed that it was easy to put on, and it was comfortable so at no moment did Lucas try to remove it. I like the removable splint, it helped him on day one to ease the pressure on his leg and we removed it by day 5 to make sure that he was able to support his leg on his own with minor aid. Would 1000% recommend this product.

Eh, returned.
I personally didn’t find this helped my dog at all. Could be user error or maybe I didn’t measure correctly, but I didn’t notice it providing her any extra support. Oh well, returned.

Does the job. Clinical benefit …????
Does what it claims - supports the joint well. GET THE RIGHT SIZE. It makes a difference. With the right size, you can tighten the cuff appropriately to provide maximum stability. Whether it helps clinically is a different matter.
