Poor Charlie Almanack is truly one of the best gift from Charlie to all of us, As Peter Kaufmann said by reading and using these principles in your life you may arrive at a better understanding of Life as Well.The book gives you brief insights on Charlie’s life, His family and his childhood, Gives you brief insights on Charlie career both as a Lawyer and as a investor how he met his wife Nancy and then some great thoughts from his Family and Friends about Charlie, The book then moves on how he met Warren Buffet and how they got along very well and few of the reasons why they thought they are perfect partners.The book then takes you to the 11 talks which is really where Charlie with a lot of simplicity shares a lot of his Intellectual, Values and Wisdom through his life experience which is something according to Charlie one needs to live his/her life and this is way we all can improve ourselves These are the few things which Charlie Stresses a lot during while providing references during his 11 talks and which I have taken as my takeaway1. Multidisciplinary Skills2. Mental Models3. Human Psychology4. What did academics did not teach as well5. Learnings one new thing every dayEverything else apart you will be surprised to know the encyclopedia knowledge which Charlie has and the references and phrases he has used all along this book, it truly shows that he is a great believer in learning and which is one of the most important thing to do as per Charlie of all of usI also did like the various books Charlie/Author has referenced or recommended which referencing to different things.Few of his Phrases“There are always people better at something than you are, You have to learn to be a follower before you become a leader, People should learn to play all roles”“You need to learn one new thing everyday”“And with that I have nothing more to add :-)"Thank you Amazon and One Shop the book was delivered to me in less than the days committed and was in perfect condition!!Thank you

The media could not be loaded. The review is mostly about the book as a product rather than it's contents. Anything Charlie Munger deemed good to share is of course worth reading. I will say, the first two chapters being 'Foreword by Warren Buffet' praising Mr. Munger and the immediate next chapter being 'Rebuttal by Charlie Munger' encapsulates their partnership, and Charlie, in a beautiful way. The book copy itself is amazing. The quality of the hard cover, the print, the pictures inside etc. all make it worth buying. Everything is high quality. You don't feel shortchanged when you get your hands on this book. While you can learn Charlie's wisdom from many videos and books, this one seems like a worthy book to get as an ode to one of the great men of our times.

The almanac contains three parts:The biography of Charlie Munger with annotations and references explained.Transcripts of lectures Munger gave at various periods in different places.The talks with checklists of mental models he uses in the checklist, the psychology behind every models and ‘antidotes ‘ he found that helps to control influence caused by particular models.

Speechlesse each chapter adds value to you. Your thinking pattern is stimulated. Excellent book and yes it was supplied by M M Mukhi and sons on time and in best condition.
