CAN'T BELIEVE IT TASTES SO GOOD!
FULL FLAVOR. Tastes DELICIOUS. EZ prep. Just add boiling water, mix, and wait. Transported this meal and other flavors to ICELAND. No problem getting through TSA since the meals are dried. Packing light is simple. Dietary issues become problems traveling abroad. Peak Refuel solved my problem. I just check the salt content to purchase the dinners I can eat. Only wish the bags would come in SINGLE servings. Refrigerators are not always available in hotel rooms for leftovers. Protein content makes the meals very filling. Texture is good; not mushy or partially reconstituted like other brands. Can't beat the price.... great value!

Hands down the best yet!
1: Peak Refuel has the best flavors of other brands I have tried.2: Sweet Pork & Rice is WAY better then I thought it would be. I took my first bite and was shocked it wasso good.3: Beans are harder for them to reconstitute fully and I would let my meals sit for at least 15mins. (20)mins if you can wait.I'm going to give the other Peak meals a try also. The biscuits and gravy is good but needs some more salt and pepper. Have to break up the biscuits to assist the reconstitution.I have had a few different meals from various brands, yes Peak is more money but when you want something that is freeze dried but as good as a home cooked meal, its the way to go.

Good
It was good, cooks well and tastes great but unfortunately I got super sick in the middle of the night. Camping. Pitch black. 39deg out. Nothing worse than having to crawl out of the tent and throw up everywhere. Not sure what the issue was.

Best Backing Meal EVER
I've taken 24 backpack trips since 2018. I pack a lot. I've tried nearly all the freeze-dried backpack meals on the market. Many are just plain terrible. This one is my body's all-time favorite. I order it so much that my Echo dot reminds me, monthly, that I need to buy more. It tastes so good. It has a great protein to carb ratio. I don't get bloated, farty, or crampy with the runs. Trust me, I can't say that about some other meals. Overall, I really like all the Peak Refuel products, but the Sweet Pork and Rice in an unbeatable option. My other go-to is the Mountain House brand Breakfast Skillet. My body loves that one too!

Delicious and easy to prep
Recently went on a backpacking trip in the Sawtooth mountain range. In my quest to pack light I ate freeze dried meals for breakfast and dinner (lunch was just a light snack as these meals filled me up very nicely). All I needed was something to boil water (Jet boil to the rescue) and my spork. No mess kit to deal with as you can use the bag for prep and eating out of. The sweet pork and rice in particular matched very well with the few tortillas I packed and made nice, tasty little burritos. 10/10 I would recommend and pack again on my next trip. VERY tasty.

Outstandingly sweet
I really like brown sugar so this was great for me. That being said, if someone doesn't like sweets, there's hands down too much sugar. But I really like the taste. I recommend letting it site for more than 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes, and adding 1 1/2 cups of water.

Leave the spices to me!
Good ingredients, mixes up well, BUT, too spicy. I don't understand why manufactures of these food products seem to think they know what I like as far as spices go. If I want a product to be more spicy, I'll add the appropriate item. They end up excluding people who do not care for much added spice. I won't be buying this again.
