The products is really good , if the rod was little lengthy it would have been better,First you will have to remove the surface of it by scratching on only one side , then when the shiny surface is there you can start with the process of starting the fire , but you will to have scratch some more powder from the rod and strike it in such a way that spark reaches the powder and this ignitesThe powder and makes easy for starting the fire

This fire starter is excellent . The price is of a toy thats the best part. The only thing is when you gat it you will have to work very hard i mean very hard to get the sparks. That is because there is a pain coating on the rod. You have to keep striking until paint comes of. Once its off the sparks will come. After some time the sparks will come without effort. Very good product.

It is a small striker and flint. I prefer a bigger flint but good value for money. In emergency I think it can work.. but for regular use I think it would have a short life. Thank you for the product. I am satisfied.

Its too too too cheap!It comes loose, its Plastic handle cant hold the FlintStriker is bigger than the Flint.From my years in service I have learnt that only quality products are products that last. This is not a quality product.

Its easy to make fire.usefull to us.First make fire on cotton then use other material

First I thought it was not working but you have to loose the shine of the metal by trying to light it up by the metal thing when the shine goes off from the metal it’s good to go !

Basically it is just a Flintstone embedded in plastic mould but it is a good item to show to kids as to how caveman used to make fire. Does not ignite even on cotton wool but sparks are great. Knife attached is useless. However, a fancy item which you can show to kids
