Cooler Master Master Gel Thermal Paste

Cooler master thermal pastes are one of the best for PCs. This would be my second time purchase of the same product.Compared to other thermal solutions I've come across, this sits right in between a metal based compound and a good thermal pad. And has an efficiency of close to 60 of that of a metal based compound.Cons:👉 The tube lasts for a good 3 to 4 applications👉 The paste is not thick like others👉 Every application lasts easily for more an an year and a half without significant loss in conductivity👉 Spreads easily👉 Bundled with a alcohol based cleaner in the pouch which lasts for one wipe. After that is useless.👉 Can be cleaned off easily if mistakes happen when applying or during thermal paste replacement by using common kerosene or paint thinner👉 compared to metal based compounds, this is forgiving in terms of applicationCons:👉 Took a week to deliver. Needed thermal paste urgently after water had seeped into laptop during rains, but had to wait for delivery of this product to be able to use my laptop👉 the packaging is a bit too hard and should be careful while taking out the syringe. Else all the paste can end up inside the package👉 Since the tube lasts for more than 4 applications, storing the tube back in the packaging won't be possible if the package is damaged when taking it out👉 It comes bundled with a scalpel, which for a pro user is uselessPro tip: Before beginning to replace thermal compounds on your PC, make sure to keep some kerosene, preferably paint thinner to wipe off old grime and to clean excess paste. These thermal pastes are good to use if you would encounter with high CPU, GPU temperatures. BUT, problem is, not everyone can use it. You should have experience to open desktop/laptops/servers to apply such pastes without damaging other components of the motherboards.Now, some important factorsDon't just buy any thermal paste. Grade of it should be considered. (Especially in gaming laptops n desktops)Paste Quantity comes more than what is necessary so have to keep it safe untill nobody knows.I didn't give any star in gaming section because I don't have a gaming laptop so can't say how It would perform, But can consider it for gaming as it's cheaper.

It's a lifesaver thermal paste considering the money. The Arctic Silver is by far a better solution for CPUs and GPUs if you're willing to spend. I had this problem with my ROG Laptop fan, due to reduced efficiency it was unable to cool off the heatsinks. Laptop fan replacement proved to be very hectic and also the thermal paste was the old stock one and did never show appreciable cooling during it's fresh days. This paste did the magic. It already comes with grease cleaner and spreader.Easy to install and awesome for gaming

To make this review worthwhile, I'll keep it in a Q/A format.1. Is it the same product as displayed: NO. The one I received mentions it as a "New Version" with differently styled application nose.2. Is it original: Yes, seems to be. I can't guarantee that though.3. Is it easy to use: No. The one they ship has a flat end for application. It is in the syringe, but the exit is flat and not round. This makes it somewhat more suitable for application on desktop CPU and GPU, which have a larger IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). I ordered it for use in my Acer Nitro 5 Laptop. With a small application area available, the relatively large flat application end of the syringe (which is mentioned neither in the product listing nor in the photos) gave me troubles applying it in the right quantity at the right place.4. Does it help reduce temperatures: Yes, to an extent. Be mindful of managing your expectations. With the right application, I was able to reduce the CPU (Intel i7-8750H) gaming operating temp. from ~88C to ~76C (Note: Both results are with CPU core voltage undervolted at -0.100 offset)5. Is the repasting process risky: Not if you what you are doing and how to do it. If you are not sure, seek the help of an expert. It is wiser to spend a few bucks to ensure safe operation of your device.6. Why 3 stars: First, it is difficult to use. Second, the product is not what is shown here. Third, it's not as effective as some other available options. However, it is a good value for money considering the better options cost somewhere around 700 (Arctic Silver) and 1200 (Thermal Grizzly) INR.CAUTION: Check for your manufacturer's warranty policy before taking apart your system (such as repasting) and/or tweaking (such as undervolting) with it. Only you are responsible for any intentional/unintentional damages that may come your way.

I bought this Cooler Master mastergel Thermal compound.Actually it is a decent product for a normal user.It is used on the processor for reducing the heat by avoiding gap between processor and cpu heat sink of the processor. I am using this on Ryzen 5 2400g processor with the stock cooler.It is actually a quality product for this buget rate for a customer of ordinary prudence.It comes with a good packaging by avoiding any damage on transit.Final word: The cooler master mastergel is an amazing budget thermal paste for a mid level gaming system. I recomment this to all of the ordinary consumers.

Bought this for my Acer Predator Helios 300,Delivery got late but the Product is genuine,As the old paste was completely dried out, i applied this properly and now getting satisfying lower temps overall,Tried and tested this on multiple, multi-hour gaming session,FOR CPU :-On idle around 40℃ - 46℃,On max load 70℃ - 78℃..For GPU :-On idle around 35℃On max load 60℃ - 67℃Overall its good if you're on tight budget,Else go for any high quality paste
