My son has been asking for floating shelves for about 6 months. I bought him these for a gift a Christmas. He originally requested them in black, but by the time I got around to ordering them only brown was left in. stock?He took them out on Christmas morning and hun g them right away. He displayed his model cars on them. They look beautifully. He even said he was glad I got the brown because h thought they looked classy! Success

I thought 2 sets of these for my “mud room/shoe entry way”. They worked perfectly and make the entire area look classy. They’re not too thick and bulky. The white was perfect for what I was trying to create. Would definitely buy again.

Sag a little during install, but you get what you pay for. Once I put a few things on the bottom one, I felt compelled to wedge another 2x2 under it to provide a bit more support. I had jars of paints, so maybe it was over the weight limit, but overall, they're cheap and easy. You know what you're getting by not spending more.

The media could not be loaded. I really like these shelves a lot. They’re pretty sturdy for what they are. I wouldn’t wanna put a ton of weight on them but for what I use them for in my bathroom they’re just fine and I’m 75 so it was pretty easy to put them up.

These shells were perfect for my office to display some of my baseball card collection (see photos). They look just like wood even though they're not. If you know how to install drywall anchors and a few screws, you can easily install these shelves. Comparable wood shelves would have been a couple of $100. A++

These floating shelves are a bit more expensive than alot of the others you can find on Amazon. That being said, I was shocked to recieve these and find that they aren't much different than the cheaper ones. Installation was straight forward and came with easy to follow instructions aswell as wall anchors and screws. They even threw in a level (which is actually pretty good given the simplicity of it). However, you will need a screw driver & drill bits at the very least to complete this task.Once installed, they are a bit flimsy. Not sure what they are rated for, but i wouldn't be confident in putting any more than 8lbs on them as it doesn't take much to get them to sag.It's also important to note that these are not ACTUAL WOOD. They are closer to a pressed wood or thick cardboard in consistency and to remain light are most certainly hollow.In short terms:Do they function well? Yes.Do they look nice? Yes.Simple to install? Yes.Worth the price? No.

I love the way these look. But they’re heavy so I’m going to have to get a handy man to install them. I know they’ll look gorgeous once they’re up. I got the black ones and love the color.

These are not wood. They are basically cardboard. Highly returned item says it all
