Good product

TDS seems to work fine. Distilled water reports 1ppm for instance.I'm new to TDS meters so there are some things that confuse me. Each time I remove and dip it in, it shows a different reading, within about 10 units. Hot water seems to make TDS super high but drops once the water cools.The temperature reading is completely wrong but I don't need that function anyways. Dont expect this to replace your thermometers.The font size for the units(ppm/c/f) is really small and hard to see so it can be confusing to use at first.

I wash alot of cars at my house. I bought this to check the hardness in my water. Hit the button and instant results 267 ppm. Priced right and seems to work well.

I only used this water meter once and the power is already gone, it does not turn on. Even though this meter is cheap but not worth taking time to deal with the trouble. This meter is not rechargeable. The pre-installed two batteries by the manufacture are old and odd not only unremovable but also the type of the batteries do not sell on US market. The manufacture refused any replacement so I toss it into trash.

Disliked lack of a manual, can not install batteries because I can not get the battery box open; so what I'm left with is a piece of plastic but I will keep trying.
