Works extremely well for a very, very, very difficult sleeper
I have myriad issues that interfere with sleep: cervical/neck problems that require a lot of neck support; jaw clenching/biting issues that require me to wear a dental appliance and to have the right counter-pressure on my jaw from a pillow; sinus problems that make it difficult to breathe unless I'm lying in the right position; Sensory Processing Disorder that causes me to be very sensitive to the softness/firmness of a pillow, to the pressure on my ears, and to the exact way my hair is pressed into my skin by the pillow; Restless Leg Syndrome that causes me to thrash and change positions frequently during the night; and Sleep Apnea, just to cap it all off. After trying dozens of pillows over the years, I had finally found one that mostly worked for me, so I was very frustrated to find that it didn't work with the CPAP masks that I finally gave up and tried for the Sleep Apnea. Thus, I began once again searching for a pillow I could tolerate. That was a tall order, and I can't say I honestly expected to have much luck. Still, I read about dozens of CPAP pillows and finally chose this one over the others, for two reasons: 1) Some of the reviews mentioned it provided good neck support, and 2) its height is adjustable, which I've found to be a key feature with other pillows. I crossed my fingers, ordered it, was annoyed when it came a day late and off-gassed more strongly than I would have preferred, and then found it to be FAR better than I expected. This pillow is actually more comfortable than my previous one, which as I said was the culmination of a multi-year search of dozens of options. With this pillow, I'm able to sleep on either side and/or my back as needed throughout the night. It supports my neck perfectly in all of my favorite positions, providing exactly the right amount of counter-pressure where I need it, without putting too much pressure on the overly-sensitive areas. It hits my jaw just right, reducing issues from that. I use the soft side up, which makes it soft enough not to irritate my ears. And with it, I barely notice the CPAP straps, despite the Sensory Processing Disorder. I actually wake up feeling (dare I say it) rested, and without a headache, and without my neck hurting, and without my jaw clenched and miserable. This is by far my new favorite pillow, and my only remaining question is how many should I buy to make sure I have a spare in case the company stops making them or something? Seriously, if you have cervical/neck issues, and/or Sensory Processing Disorder, and/or jaw problems, and/or shoulder problems, and/or chronic headaches, and/or whatever else, I strongly recommend this pillow. May it work as well for you as it does for me! Edit: Nearly five years later, I'm still using this pillow, and it still works well for me. Recently, I've been trying to reduce my plastic usage, and I was frustrated to realize that all of my bedding contains polyester -- except for this pillowcase. That is 100% cotton. I was pleased to see that and thought I'd add it here.

Great night’s sleep
My husband uses a full face cpap mask & is a side sleeper. He was initially using a memory foam wedge pillow on top of a regular pillow when starting mask use, as physician suggested. This worked about 18mos. He then started having problems w/mask fit & all that goes along w/it, sleeping position, & neck discomfort. We reviewed many cpap pillows & settled on this product. I had my doubts. AMAZING! He’s only been using this pillow 2 weeks, but no more mask fit issues. He sleeps comfortably all night, can change sleep position w/o problem, no longer has stiff, sore neck & his cpap scores have improved! This pillow is more firm than the memory foam & gives much better neck support. He doesn’t seem to think his mask is in the side cut-outs but somehow his mask stays in place all night w/this pillow. He also realizes he doesn’t require the elevation that he had using the wedge, this thickness seems to be just right for comfort & support. He doesn’t use the soft strap to secure the tubing so can’t speak to that. And haven’t had it long enough to need washing. We’re both sleeping through the night now. Very pleased with this pillow…money well spent! A good nights rest is priceless…at any age.

Comfortable and Worth It
I enjoy the soft side of the pillow but found the "cool" side to be too firm for me. The indentation is helpful for one side but of course when you roll to the other side, the machine is still on the other side. Basically, I enjoy it and think it is worth the price.

Good product Company stands behind
Great pillow. Solves the issues with CPAP sleep After a couple months I had concerns about pillow when I removed the case and saw what seems to be elongated “holes” happening. Many reviewers have concerns about this. Have no fears! The company was quick to respond. Stating that the “holes” are normal. Part of what happens from the mold that makes the pillow. But most IMPORTANTLY they stand behind the product. There is a 1 yr WARRANTY!!!… on A PILLOW! (The description says two years, but I think rep said 1 year, either way great warranty) Not sure many companies would do that. The pillow has given me some of the best sleep I have had. Both with the CPAP on and regular sleep. Keeps spine alignment IMO. Also the company website sells pillowcases that will work with the “leash” that is attached to the pillow. The leash helps keep the hose from cpap in place. The current price is a great deal. This often sells for close to $100. I purchased when it was $74+ as I type this it is in now &59.99 wow!! It is a cooling pillow but that is not why I purchased so unsure if I can give a review on that. I can say… I don’t feel like it makes me sweat. Feel free to call the company directly with any concerns you have after purchase.

Nice pillow
I like the pillow. It's comfortable. But it doesn't help with the CPAP mask. The mask still presses against the pillow and blocks my nostril.

Skeptical, Then A Believer
I was about ready to give up on CPAP for a number of reasons, but one of the biggest ones: my pillow. No matter which mask I used, none would cooperate with my standard pillow. As a stomach sleeper, my face (and thus any CPAP mask) will always have some contact with parts of my pillow. So, my respiratory therapist recommended this one, as a possible thing to try. And after a few nights of getting used to it, this is now my main pillow that I can't sleep without. Main things: *It's smaller than I expected, but still works great for me, size-wise. It also is a great size for traveling with (I've fit it (tightly) into my carry-on luggage before). *It's pretty firm, too. But it's also adjustable, which I appreciated. I removed one layer and it works perfectly for sleeping on my stomach now. *The C-shaped sides are game changers. Now, no matter what mask I use, I can sleep with my head in the crook of that section and not have mask leaks. I was hesitant to buy this pillow, but it's been one of the best CPAP-related purchases I've made. Highly recommend for stomach & side sleepers.

Two Warnings: 1. Terrible, headache-inducing smell. 2. Not appropriate for top-of-head hoses.
Two Warnings: 1. Terrible, headache-inducing smell. 2. Not appropriate for top-of-head hoses. 1. BEWARE. The pillow is advertised as "Odor-free". That's a very bad joke. To me, the pillow reeks with a toxic-smelling, possibly dangerous, odor. Inside the plastic case in which the pillow is packaged is a flyer titled, "3 STEPS TO CPAP COMFORT". The flyer states, "Like a new car, the pillow will have a product smell". Sorry, but the smell is not that of a new car (which itself is hazardous). It is much more malodorous. Furthermore, I would never think of sticking my nose into the vinyl material inside a new car and breathe those fumes directly all night long. I think that the CPAP Pillow literally stinks, and that is a deal-breaker. I returned it immediately to get it out of my house. 2. Because of the smell, I did use this pillow even once. None-the-less, I had hoped that it would be designed such that it would work with the type of masks that have a hose inlet at the top of the head band and air tubes going down the side of the face to the mouthpiece. (for example the ResMED AirFit P30i). I would like to keep both air tubes open when I sleep on my side. But the CPAP Pillow does not have a carve-out in the foam for the airtube. If I were to rest my head on the CPAP Pillow, I suspect that the CPAP Pillow would block off the air tube on that side. Additionally, the location of the crescent cutouts at the sides are not useful at all for this type of mask. The ideal shape of a pillow for the AirFit P30i, would be a crescent so that it could support the top of the head and the jaw while it curves around the air tube at the temple.

Better than other pillow for stomach sleepers
Pillow is working extremely well for me. I sleep on my stomach, and use an ResMed AirFit P30i. This CPAP headgear has a supply tube that comes out of the crown of your head, and nasal pillows in the front. I tried several other CPAP pillows. They all had a standard thickness, and scoops of the pillow material taken (not all the way through the pillow) from each side. Thin of them as big dent on each end of the pillow. The front of my head gear that went around my nose would still get pressed to the side when placing my face over the depressions in the pillow. They did not work for me. This pillow has cut outs that go all the way through the entire pillow to accommodate head gear. It also has several layers of foam that can be added and removed to customize the thickness to accommodate a variety of sleeping positions. Because I’m a stomach sleeper,I took all of the layers out, except for the white layer, which has a soft side and an alternate cool side. Now, the part of my headgear that goes under my nose does not get hung up and it has been much easier to get a good nights sleep. I can’t recommend it strongly enough! Also, this pillow is a bit smaller than a standard pillow. So it swims around if you put it in a standard pillowcase. The manufacturer has custom pillowcases that contour to the CPAP pillow. I bought one of those, and it fits very nicely. I would recommend getting one of their custom pillowcases as well.
