Great for meal prep
Great for meal prep and storing in the freezer. Microwavable as well and very robust. Not thin plastic like some others. Great product!

Basic takeaway containers
This is a 12 pack of basic takeaway containers. The only difference that I can see between these and the ones that I have from my local chinese takeaway are that these are black.They are fairly sturdy, and stack well. They are BPA free and microwave safe. The lids fit well.I have removed one star as these do seem a bit pricey. I am sure that my takeaway doesnt pay this for their containers or their prices would have to be much higher.

Do the job but not an upgrade
These Zencart meal prep containers are good for food storage and batch cooking.I have the 12-pack, and they are deeper and wider than your standard takeaway containers. I would say they can hold two food portions.They are made of BPA-free, food-grade plastic, as you would expect.After looking at the photos on the Product Description Page, I was expecting something more rigid than a typical takeaway container, but I wouldn’t say the quality is much different.The lids are see-through; however, the containers are opaque black, so the contents are only visible through the top.A good design feature is that they are stackable when in use. When not in use, the containers and lids sit inside each other, so don’t take up too much room to store.The lids can be quite fiddly to remove. I would prefer some kind of tab on the corner to make this easier, as I’m worried that I’ll snap them off.Overall, these containers do their job, but if you already have a cupboard full of takeaway containers, I wouldn’t rush to replace them with these.
