I haven’t used any castor oil before this is my first time so I have no product to compare it to. It does have a nutty scent to it. I know that other castor oil doesn’t usually have a scent, but this is authentic caster oil that is a product from Jamaica, even though it does say that it was made in China. It’s excellent to use on massages for your skin or use on your hair or nails. I also got this product because I was told if you put it inside your belly button and seal the product in your belly button overnight that it could help with fibroids in your uterus if you suffer from multiple cysts i’m trying to see how this product will work overtime by eliminating pain hopefully caused by the pressure in my stomach due to my uterine of fibroids disclaimer this product does not say that it will do that, but I am using it for that purpose to try it out on my own as an alternative method to ease my pain and avoid surgery. It is nice that this product also does come with two mini brushes for your eyebrows or eyelashes if you want to apply it to your eyebrows eyelashes for extra shine and hair re-growth.

I wa surprised how thick the oil was as I had never used black castor oil before. It has been great for my mother in laws hands. Her hands are rough from gardening and farming so much. She also found putting it on nightly not only makes her skin feel soft, but she has also noticed some subtle changes on her hand achiness. Her hands are NOT achy. Eats great is you need very little. A few drops and it covers a lot of your hands and wrists. I have also used it on my face and noticed visible changes in my fine lines on my forehead, especially after being in the sun.

Great all over body moisturizer , I like to use it on my arms and legs, they looks great after applying this. You can also add some frankincense essential oil to bottle shake, it’s a really good combo. I got one of this for my mom as well, she uses it for hair growth magic powers , applies this on eye lashes and hair one a week, she says it helps :)

I’ve seen a lot of “castor oil packs” and I’ve given several different styles a try. Of course, in order to use them, I also need the key ingredient!Castor oil has been a homeopathic staple for centuries but I’m still pretty new to the game so I consulted Dr. Google who has all kinds of great information for this miracle oil. I will say that my research has indicated that the preferred qualities for therapeutic use include a dark glass bottle and oil that has been cold-pressed and is hexane-free. Extra-virgin makes this an even better find! This bottle includes a built-in dropper or you can just pour the oil.Last but not least, it’s hard to speak to the effectiveness because if it’s something you're already taking it’s hard to notice a difference in the way you look and/or feel. At the same time, if it’s new to you/your system, it usually takes a while for any real benefits to show up. I've used 'regular' organic castor oil on my hair every other week-ish for the past 6 months. I 'soak' oil into my hair ends and massage a little bit into the scalp and leave it on for an hour or so before shampooing twice in the shower. Afterward my hair feels nice. But I've never used Jamaican Black Castor Oil before, so I was curious if I would notice a difference with this product. I actually felt that my hair was softer this time around, and more manageable - even a little bit of a shine I hadn't noticed before. I'm impressed. The product was well packaged, with plastic wrap around the box and then the bottle inside was sealed in more wrap and it comes with 2 small wands to use on eyebrows or whatever. I have another brand of black castor oil to try after this one, so I'm testing brands right now. This one feels like a winner - and it's nice to be able to compare, after seeing great results with this one.

I’m using this castor oil to detox. I just started. A couple things I like about it are that it is thick and smooth and goes onto the detox pad very easily and stays in place. It’s not sticky.

I used this for post-pregnancy massage, and it was great. It absorbed easily and felt very relaxing. I've been using it every day, and it feels so good. It was packaged very well in a black bottle and had no odour.
