Husband Loves it! Lots of reviews say it’s hard to slide up because it slick but he hasn’t had that issue! Holds plenty of cards and isn’t too big!

I was going back and forth on whether to purchase since it is a little pricey. I tried other card pop up wallets and by far this seems to be the most sturdy. It’s a great size, slightly bulkier with leather add on than Elster or Code 118, but nothing to complain about. Cards stay in place when you shake it. If you don’t hold the top plate and shake it, cards will slide out, but won’t go flying everywhere unless you really shake it. I’ve found that they just slide out like when you actuate the top slider of the wallet. Overall this is an excellent wallet and as of right now, I think it’s worth the price, but time will tell. Also comes with an excellent warranty!

I have tried quite a few of the minimalist wallets - Grip6, Ridge, etc. - and the Groove Wallet so far has been my favorite to use. I love the size, the weight, and the swiping up to eject the cards is so satisfying. The only MAJOR problem I have is not with the wallet itself but with the Groove Wallet GO attachment. It adheres to the wallet with "microsuction technology", and is removeable/reusable, which is great in theory and on paper but not in practice, unfortunately. I find the bottom of the GO pulling away from the chassis of the wallet in less than a week after following the instructions to remove, clean, and readhere. I wish they would have left the option for the GO they had before with the screws to actually secure it to the Wallet and given people an option between the two, since the new version of the GO probably appeals more to people wanting to attach it to their iPhone with the MagSafe magnet array it has. I am considering switching the GO out for the money clip, which I hate to do because I really like the look and functionality of the GO in conjunction with the Wallet. But the tendency of the GO to accumulate dust and pocket lint (even if I clean my pockets first) and pull away from the wallet constantly is kind of annoying. To clarify, I don't think it would fall off the wallet entirely, but it's more of an aesthetic and functional annoyance. Besides that, the Groove Wallet is fantastic. EDIT: It comes with a sticker to attach to the sliding panel of the wallet to make it easier to "grip" and thus slide it upwards, since without the sticker it can be challenging to swipe the panel up due to the smooth material of the aluminum. It does the job, but I find that the Dragon Grips Grip Tape (sold here on Amazon) work even better as the different sized strips allow for alternative arrangements and more grip. Anyway, my two cents. Great wallet though!

I inadvertently wrote a previous review for the wrong wallet. My previous review is for the Ekster Wallet, so this is to correct that. The Groove Life Wallet is an excellent wallet. I really like the slide action for displaying the cards. It doesn't always fan out the cards evenly but still does a good job at it. And I am really happy to find an EDC wallet of this quality made in the USA

I modified mine. Added a magsafe magnet to the other side, and stuck a leather expansion on it. There have been too many times where I've just wanted to add one business card, and had no room. I've owned Secrid (the original card popping wallet), several Dangos, Ridge, and Bellroys. Groove life is the best. Groove life has premium construction (unlike Secrid/Bellroy), you can easily get the cards out (unlike Ridge), it doesn't destroy the cards (all Dangos scrape the edges as cool as they are), and it won't be destroyed by an active person (Bellroys practically melt with sweat as I'm getting 30-40k steps a day walking through London or Shanghai).
