This item installed in literally just a minutes time! The material is unbreakable and the window will not open but it can be quickly removed with the key. This fit our window perfectly and without damage.

These sliding window locks are exactly what I needed for extra security in my home. They were easy to install, fit snugly, and feel very sturdy. I like that they come with keys for added peace of mind. They work perfectly on both my vertical and horizontal sliding windows and don’t budge once tightened. The material feels durable and solid, definitely not flimsy. Great price for the quality, and I feel much safer now having them in place. Highly recommend!

Works well at securing the window. Would have likes a more substantial buffer. It comes with small plastic piece that could get lost. But other than that it secured the sindow for the portable ac unit. Worth the money.

Excellent window locks! I feel safe using window fans and portable AC on days I don't want to run my full system. Easy to remove and install. Fits perfectly on all my windows that open vertically d slide horizontally. Great value for the money, durability and excellent functionality. Even if you loose the tools, just grab a l bracket set and you're good to go.

Very happy with purchasing of these window locks. The previously used ones were of poor quality, thin material. To anchor/lock them it required a rotating twist via fingers OR the use of needle nose pliers & even then...they would't hold a solid grip via windows track(s). They failed miserablely at doing their job in securing your window.These new window locks however....are nothing but quality! These are made of high grade thick materials and locking retention..comes with x2 different multi-tools to cover any scenario or tight fitment areas you might encounter. Is it a one all solution to guarantee your windows will be 100% secure.. No, but they work well enough if placed on the upper+lower window tracks. These are a great security addition and extra working deterrent.

These didn't work for my windows the way I expected. I expected, for my vertical window, for the screws to face me looking at the window from inside. But instead they faced each other - screws facing in to the window on both sides. Having the screws face me made them easier to install, but they would not stay in place. If I screwed them tight, they popped off. If I screwed them looser they would slide up and down with the window. With them facing eachother, they seem like they may stay in place? They too aren't as tight as I would like because if I screw them super tight they start to pop off. I'm guessing my windows are just different than what these locks were made for.
