Seems waterproof and bright. I think the switch is fine ...decent light so far
Seems waterproof and bright. I think the switch is fine and a decent amount of light for a small flashlight. Will update later.

Switch turns to on position too easily
It was less than ten bucks so I gave it a shot. The slide switch requires little force to move. It would be Ok for a kitchen drawer, but not a backpack or vehicle where it might accidentally turn on. Also, I had to temporarily hold this in my mouth while using both of my hands to lift something. I am not sure what the black plastic grip is, but It is some of the worst tasting plastic I have experienced.

Don’t waste your time and money
Straight up trash, bought two and neither worked upon receiving…don’t even know how that’s possible in today’s manufacturing capability…don’t waste ur time

Cheap feel and average light
This review is for the "CookiBlend Diving Flashlight Waterproof 8000LM LED Scuba Diving Flashlight Underwater Torch Light Lamp..." Now I'm no flashlight expert, but 8000LM is supposed to be like a mini spotlight. This thing doesn't even come close. I have a couple higher-end flashlights advertised as 1000LM and they are WAY brighter. I don't know if this was a typo in the title... maybe it should read "800LM". In any case, the light is brighter than my cell phone flashlight, so that's a plus, I suppose. The build quality is awkward, and the overall feeling is just a cheap light. The plastic body feels like low quality plastic, and the switch doesn't feel especially solid. To install the required 4AA batteries, you unscrew the light portion. Then the little diffuser and bulb unit pops out, and you put the batteries underneath. Then you wedge in the diffuser and bulb unit, hold it in place, and then screw the light cover back on. There's one rubber gasket near the threads to keep out the water. I think the best use case for this is just as pool toy when the family is night swimming. I wouldn't take this thing diving, and I wouldn't rely on it for actual use. I expect the switch will give out first, as it doesn't feel particularly durable. I added 1 star b/c it did seem to keep water out in my 15-minute soak test. Overall, I would not recommend this light.

Doesn't work at all
Useless. Does not work. Light comes on briefly while screwing it closed after inserting batteries but then won't light after fully assembled. Don't waste your money

Test them
Bought two of them, got to the Philippines and they didn’t work at all. Test before you go
