So many good reasons to take Omega 3...
I love the back story (went and had a dive into their website) - this company comes across as really caring about people's health, not just jumping on the bandwagon of making money from people desperate to preserve their health via supplements. Their branding is top notch, and packaging - foil wrapped so the product stays in top condition for longer. Excellent. Ashamed to say I didn't know they exist, but very glad to have found them via being able to trial this product through the Vine programme. I am SO lucky! There is a tonne of Omega supplements available, so it makes it very hard for people to choose. The choice here is easy - they provide "the first Omega-3 supplement in the world to be delivered in a plant based enteric gastro-resistant shell." in other words, it will get to the intestines, where it can be absorbed, and no fish taste... YAY! I would love to eat fish daily because it is so good for you (I think I was a fisherman's wife in a previous life ha ha), but hubby likes variety, so, I top up the goodness with a supplement. It isn't cheap at £25, but I will only need one a day as I do eat quite a bit of fish... anyway, quality doesn't come cheap... This one is now my new favourite. I need to go get some of their other 51 products now... too much choice!

Great quality product, 2 x per day, easy to swallow
These arrived in a smart box and the capsules themselves are contained in blister packs. I am a strong believer in Omega 3 and, along with Vitamin D are the two supplements I would not skip. These capsules with a recommended dose of 2 per day, provide 1,362 mg of Omega 3 per day - halve that if you are only taking 1 capsule - I never know what one is supposed to take so I looked it up and you must do your own research but, for me, over 51 it's 1.1mg for a female and 1.6mg for a chap - recommended dose is lower if you are younger, do your own research - taken with a glass of water before or with food and no hot drink for 30 mins. The capsules are quite large but easy to swallow and, as promised, there is no fishy aftertaste but I have never experienced that with Omega 3 (cod liver oil perhaps but not Omega). If you are looking at these, you already know what the purported benefits of Omega 3 are and probably have a good diet and exercise routine and, like me, just think that a supplement like this will help maintain what you already work towards. Besides which, you probably eat enough of the right foods to ensure that you get enough Omega 3 naturally in your diet and take them just in case. These are not a miracle cure and it will take months before it is possible to comment on their efficacy. What I will say is that for around 6 months, I didn't take any Omega 3 supplements and started to get or, notice, arthritis in my hands, knees and, experienced eye problems (which required laser surgery). I also thought I was going dotty and so, I was pleased to have the opportunity to try these on the Vine programme. These are stated to be 'produced' in Ireland from sustainably sourced sea life - Revive Active do a whole range of vitamin supplements and so I am understanding this is accurate. The company name is Galway Natural Health Sales and they have a good ethos. Price wise, these are pricey for only 1 months supply taking 2 per day but, I have nothing to compare them with just now. If they are as special as advertised, then possibly these are worth the cost but you must do your research into quantity and quality of Omega 3 because at almost £25, these are quite expensive.

Unusual presentation. Informative box
*Edit - after taking these for 3 weeks I am increasing my score from 4 to 5 stars as this is the first time ever I've used an Omega 3 fish oil supplement and had no fishy aftertaste - not once. Excellent! Original review: I was surprised to discover this Omega 3 supplement comes in blister packs rather than the usual bottle. That explains the size of the box! The box is very informative and I have checked out the EPA and DHA content versus the ones I have been taking and these Revive capsules are almost twice as potent which is great to know. I also appreciated knowing that these capsules are designed to release in the small intestine rather than in the stomach like many others - the cause of the fishy aftertaste is because when the capsule releases in the stomach, the fish oil rises to the top. These avoid that by the small intestine designed release. They are not cheap at £24.99 for effectively 1 month's supply but I can see me ordering these again now that I am more aware of the benefits these capsules offer in addition to the fact that the fish oil is certified by Friend of the Sea as being sustainably sourced.

At last - Omega 3 fish oil with no aftertaste!
I’ve always tried and then given up taking omega 3 fish oil capsules in the past due to the unpleasant fishy aftertaste so I was keen to try these by revive active. They’ve been made to dissolve lower down the digestive system, past the stomach, to not only prevent the aftertaste but allow better absorption into your body as well. I’ve been taking these for a couple of weeks now, and whilst I can’t comment on their effectiveness I can report that, despite their super strength, there’s no aftertaste which is excellent! The capsules are soft and easy to swallow with the recommended glass of cold water. They are blister packed inside a box that has plenty of details about the supplement. I was pleased to learn that the fish oil is sustainably sourced, endorsed by Friends of the Sea. I’m more than happy to continue taking these and can highly recommend them.

Non-fishy fish oil.
These fish oil capsules with Omega 3 are apparently sustainably sourced. They are of the softgel type and and although relatively large they are thankfully easy to swallow. I agree with the taste listing claim - they have no taste or aftertaste and no fishy burps making them much more palatable. One serving is two capsules which contains 1362mg of Omega 3’s - 756mg EPA and 504mg DHA. There are 60 capsules, so this makes the box a 30 day supply. My only slight complaint is that they are all in blister packs, which are rattly and harder to store. No real worries though, I’ve just popped them out into an old bottle.. I think these days most people agree fish oil is beneficial and these ones seem to contain a good amount. I’ll give them a go for the next month and see what the difference is, hopefully I’ll notice one. So far, I’m certainly not noticing any negatives so that’s a great start.

So far, so good
This is a review for ReviveActive Omega Active Fish Oil capsules, which I’ve just started taking. My initial impression is good and I will update this review if I notice any obvious effects after taking it for longer, although I am using this to promote good health so do not really expect to notice anything. Reviveactive appears to be a reputable, well established company with a strong retail presence, especially in Ireland, where the capsules are manufactured. The capsules are fairly large, about 2.4 cm long, but they are soft, smooth and easy to swallow. The capsules are primarily made from plant-derived glycerine, which they say dissolves in the small intestines rather than the stomach, which they say is preferable. The capsules taste slightly sweet in the mouth and there is no fishy taste at all. Each capsule contains 378mg EPA and 252mg DHA. With recommended serving of two capsules daily, this pack should last for one month. The capsules are individually blister-packed and the use by date is April 2026, nearly 2 years ahead.

Excellent product, well packaged with useful information
These capsules come in blister pack contained in a box rather than loose in a bottle. This not only gives the product extra protection, but also enables a better presentation of information about the product on the box, which complements and expands upon the information given in the listing. I found this information to be very informative and learnt a bit more about Omega-3. This information recommends that 2 capsules are taken daily. Each capsule is quite large (23mm long x 8.5mm diameter) but is smooth and easy to swallow with some water. The capsule is soft but should not be chewed. Chewing the capsule would not only be pointless since the capsule is designed to dissolve in your stomach, but although it is not supposed to taste fishy, it will most likely feel like drinking oil, as is the case when taking the liquid version of Omega 3.

Good supplements - easy to swallow.
Good supplements - easy to swallow. I have no complaints about this product - they’re easy to swallow, nice gel capping. What people want from their supplements is quite individual. I do wish that the packaging wasn’t so metal intensive - just put them in a paper bag / recyclable bottle. But other people will like that they’re individually sealed.
