Soft, Protective, and Cleans Lenses Nicely
These pouches are great. They're really soft and perfect for keeping my glasses scratch-free. They're a good size, fit my sunglasses comfortably, and work surprisingly well to give the lenses a quick clean. No scratches so far, and they feel like they'll hold up well. Handy to have a black and grey one too, so I can keep one in my car and one at home.

Great Quality
These came in a pair and are really great quality. The fabric is super soft and really gentle on both glasses and sunglasses. They fit all different sizes as well, we tried these with 4 different pairs of glasses and even managed to fit cleaning cloths in there. The tie string was secure and easy to use. Great recommendation for adult.I won't use these with my kid, as I just don't think it's protective enough against the daily potentials for damage in their school bag.

Inexpensive (£2.95 for 2) poor quality. Unlined. Misleading ad. Boring black & grey colour.
I am surprised these very basic pouches have attracted such favourable reviews. Yes, they are comparatively cheap, but we don't buy cases for our spectacles every day, so it may be worthwhile to search out ones that are more attractive or more suitable for your needs, albeit a little dearer. Alternatively, if you are capable of basic sewing, you could invest in a half metre of microfibre fabric and make enough for yourself as well as to give to all your friends. These pouches are advertised as protecting our glasses from scratches and damage. Scratches - yes. It is recommended NOT to clean spectacles with cotton or paper hankies, whose fibres are too harsh. Hence the value of microfibre, with its very fine fibres, both to store and clean. Indeed I ordered these pouches with the aim of using them as cleaning cloths. I find the little cloths typically given away with sunglasses etc. far too small and awkward to use, so that I often end up accidentally smearing the lense with my bare finger, rather than polishing it with a cloth. The fabric used for these pouches is very thin, and is unlined, contrary to the claim made on the ad. No way would they protect your glasses from being damaged or crushed. If that is a worry for you, I suggest you search for hard cases - there are lots for sale on Amazon. You can also find more colourful pouches and various multiples from 1 to 10. Useful to have lots if, like me, you leave your cheap readers about all over the house. Some have toggles to keep them securely shut, which these lack. Be careful, though, the ads that offer "leather" are lying - their cases are plastic. Also, whereas microfibre pouches are dual purpose, for storing and cleaning, those made of other materials are not.Ed Hicks offers Free Returns, so you can inspect these pouches without risking your £2.95.
