I bought this to go with a 16" portable monitor for my desk setup. I wanted the ability to easily adjust the height and angle, and this stand delivers at a great price. It's very versatile as you can have the monitor flush to the desk, raised next to my 27" monitor, or even right above my laptop screen. It is small and doesn't take up space on my desk, and the build quality is great. It's also very lightweight and makes it easy to move it around the house if I want to work at the dining table instead of the office.

Little too short for what I needed to rest vertically above my 16" laptop. I would have to angle my laptop way too much for this to rest above. For that reason I returned this product. The stand itself was actually fine, but I don't understand why the makers of these products don't give them an extra 2-3 inches of height for their intended use of resting vertically above a laptop.

This is a great unit. Sturdy, thoughtfully designed. I wish it was a little taller, but that's ok. If it was taller, it would be heavier. Is it heavy? Well, it's made of a metal base and it needs some weight for stability.Overall I think it's a really well designed product. They even have 2 kits for mounting: a slightly more permanent one (screw mounted-- but only takes a few seconds to remove screws), and one which adheres to the screen to make it quick to pop off & on the stand.I intend to carry this stand in my case logic brief case for 18" laptops, along with the 18" screen and accessories.

The vesa mount (attaches to back of tv) is plastic and so is the attaching nut. These need to be metal, as these are high stress points known to crack plastic.Otherwise, it's a great mount that is compact and stable.

I love this stand. It holds my portable monitor perfectly and is very sturdy! I love that it can swivel too! It helps when I am in meetings I can take this monitor with swivel stand and turn my monitor around when meeting with other staff.

It's very sturdy. It comes with a foam underlayment pad attached to the bottom to protect your tabletop. It also has a cut-out to hide the adjustment tool. The included plastic Vesa attachment mount is a product in itself with high-quality adhesive. This alone will allow you to attach the thin display, tablet, or anything really to the Vesa mount on the stand. Again the quality is great and sturdy. Would recommend.
