A good starter kit
I was going to wait for a good bit of sunshine to really test this out, but its been terrible, so i can only really comment of the quality of the parts, and the kitThe build quality of the panel is good and comparable to my other solar panel, its sturdy and the frame is solid. The provided control unit will do everything, and even includes a USB output, but unless you have very bright sunshine, you will be drawing from your battery. The cables are a bit on the short side, but if you are going to mount this on a wall or shed, there is enough length to connect to your battery, but anywhere else would require a junction box and more cables. Its good that you get the wall fixings, as my other panel did not come with them, so i had to find a solution. If you want to dip your feet in the solar power world, then this is a good place to start.
