The provided control unit will do everything, and even includes a USB output, but unless you have very bright sunshine, you will be drawing from your battery.The cables are a bit on the short side, but if you are going to mount this on a wall or shed, there is enough length to connect to your battery, but anywhere else would require a junction box and more cables.Its good that you get the wall fixings, as my other panel did not come with them, so i had to find a solution.If you want to dip your feet in the solar power world, then this is a good place to start.
