27 Function Back Light Big LCD Screen Waterproof Bicycle Odometer Computer by RSI (Black Wired)

I have this powered treadmill that I have been using for past 10 years. It still works perfectly except over the years, the ink in the LCD screen began to leak and as of today, I can barely make out the digits (see attached photo). Two pieces of importance to me were speed and distance - other information I can do without.Problem was, I could not get a replacement display unit so I did what a lot of Indian's do - JUGAD. Now, my treadmill (as will all powered treadmills), already has an existing sensor and two magnets so adopting the Sunding Bicycle Speedometer was really easy. All I did was mount the sensor on top of the existing sensor (see attached photo). Next, I cut the Sunding Bicycle Speedometer wire in the middle and added another two meters; so I could mount the Sunding Bicycle Speedometer onto the pulse sensor handle bars of my treadmill. The CIRC code I entered was 0187 - That's it!!If you look closely at the attached photo, the Sunding Bicycle Speedometer speed and distance match the digits visible on the treadmill LCD screen.Advantage of the Sunding Bicycle Speedometer:1. 100% accurate,2. Easy to setup and use.3. Crisp, clear digits4. Economical to buy and uses standard LR44 battery.Disadvantage:1. It is the size of a matchbox2. No backlight.

Seller was a total crap, they shipped me returned product. I am saying this as the 2sided tape, zip ties, and user manual was missing. Initially I had even requested for return but then I cancelled the return request as I couldn't wait for another week to get replacement. So I went to local shop got myself zip tie, two sided tape. Then watched videos on YouTube on how to install and actually configure the device.Today I installed the device and went for cycling with gps on and Google fit to track. Peddled around 12km and to my surprise this thing was bang on. Very accurate for average speed and distance covered.In a nutshell go for it. I have been using this on my bicycle for a few days and it works as advertised. Very easy to set up and quite useful if you want to know how much distance you ride on your bicycle every day, the maximum speed and the average speed etc. And it looks good too.***Update***Now the device is not working properly. The display is OK and working fine. I think it is a connection problem. When I ride the bicycle, the data is not getting updated. However, if I press the device here and there, it starts showing the values. I am not sure what is wrong. Because of this I have reduced two stars.

The price is almost affordable. It can mainly be used in Road Bike or you can say Rigit frame bikes. But the Magnet which is to be installed on the bicycle rim was detached or broken. so I have to Fix it. overall it is working excellent. I will recommend to buy only this Cycle Speedometer. The other speedometer around 300 rupees does not work at all. This 500 rupees speedometer have many functions and features than that 300 rupees speedometer.Overall, this speedometer is actually a Good Choice.Thank you 👍🏻

PROS1)Superb superb durability, it has fallen while riding, while standing but it just won’t break2)It is accurate for 9/10 points no never compare this to garmin’s or magene’s3)Battery is just superb…CONS1)There is no backlight so no visibility for night ir during early hours2)Its a pain in the ass to fit it.But you can watch utube videos for this and it will surely help u3)The pulse which we attach to the spokes is of cheap quality, carefull and dont overtight it or it will break, mine broke.

I ordered it to calculate distance covered and the time taken to cover it. I occasionally go for biking as exercise at night and had no clue of the distance covered. Did not know such a device as "bike computer" existed until saw the product during my trip to china. Saw this on amazon india and ordered it.Pro: 1) Does as advertised--Has trip meter and odometer. Tripmeter shows the distance/time/avg and max speed of the trip and odometer the cumulative distance.2) Easy to install. Took me 20 mins with all the installation accessories provided.3) Removable. To prevent theft an useful feature.4) Device and sensor are accurate. no false missed or over readings.5) Cheaper than that available at walmart china!!!!!!Cons: No backlight. Not really a con but one would be a bonus.Regarding the waterproof status do not know as have not checked and do not intent do cycle during the monsoons. Useful for those who exercise. Accurate than a GPS system. Plan to install the bigger version on my motorcycle as a digital speedometer with backlight.

Quality is good but price should be less. No automatic backlight. If u press the button then backlight is on for only 5 sec. Useless backlight function. Screen is too small to catch the eye. It should be little large under the price they charged.

Its ok for 699 but some the delay is very annoying. When you start moving slowly, it does not register the movement and will show 0 speed, till around 4kmph. You have to move faster for it to start showing correct speed. Secondly, the description says 'auto backlight in dark' which is completely false. Not only there is no setting to get backlight automatically in dark, but there's also no option to turn backlight on, manually. It will only glow up for few seconds when you prrss any button and thats all. Apart from these two issues, its fine. I don't trust the quality of waterproofing in these things but once i left it in mild rain by mistake, nothing happened. 👍
