My daughter and I both have very tight curly, frizzy hair. Your typical close bristled brush didn't work, it can't get past the surface. We usually use a wide tooth comb or a "wet" brush on wet hair. There was a lot of crying and sore scalps. They both detangled but did nothing for the frizzies. The "wet" brush had little balls on the end made of a separate material that would catch stray hairs between the bristle and the ball, very painful, especially if you're 4. The Bamboo brush smoothes the hair as it detangles and each bristle is all one piece, no catching. The more I brush the smoother and shinier my hair gets. Also, there is less hair in the brush when I'm done. There's a lot less crying. It works well on dry or wet hair. Thank you for this brush!

This bamboo brush is full size and well made. The bristles are wood and are quite sturdy. I was surprised to see how nice it was for the price! What is so great about these type brushes is that there is no static electricity with them so your hair isn't all frizzy. I am very happy with this brush, the seller and highly recommend this product.

Soft and effective, but when used it 'squeaks' like a dog toy due to a poorly implemented drainage hole placed in the rubberized bristle bed. Does a nice job on wavy hair though.

I love this brush. It’s perfect for scalp massages which is what I use it for at night. I personally wouldn’t use this as an everyday brush or for detangling. I always brush my hair out with a detangling brush first and then go in and use this just for massage and stimulating the scalp. I’ve seen some bamboo brushes go for way more, which makes no sense to me considering this product is the same. Excellent quality don’t waste your money on “high-end” bamboo brush brushes

It's fine, but the bristles don't seem to go all the way through my hair. They just skim the surface. They detangle a certai amount, but since they don't go all the way through my hair, it doesn't complete the job. Some hairs come out onto the brush, so it does pull a bit. For my hair, this is not the best choice. Other people might find it works for them.
