Perfect as always
Just got my Lucchese Shanes and they are exactly like Luccheses always are. Perfect! This is my 4th pair and each and every one are ready to wear right away. I always shop and see the others at less $ but I always get a better value for the $ with Lucchese. I did that this time with another new brand on the market and went through 4 pair trying to find a pair that didn't have several big finish flaws. These are darker and finished differently than pictured on the A site. As another buyer posted go to Lucchese site to get the right finish. Also they will be really, really hard to get on initially. But if you order your normal size, once you get it on your foot you will understand the craftsmanship.

Amazingly comfortable boots
Ordered a pair off of warehouse deals the other day. I normally wear size 10 shoes and found a 10. They fit perfectly. The picture is not a true representation. The actual product is a good bit darker brown and somewhat shinier. These are some of the most comfortable shoes/boots I have ever worn. They are a little slippery when you first start wearing them on carpet but that went away after a few days. They did seem to stretch a little after a few days as well. Maybe 1/4 size bigger. They are easier to get on and off after the first few times.

I finally got some Lucchese boots!
Very very pleased with these boots. 1st pair I've have in 25 years and they make you stand straighter. The shafts were a little dry so I conditioned the leather llightly. It was very easy to wear these for 10+ hours the first day. They do need to be broken in a bit. Look great. I have a narrow foot, but the M was just fine.

Average
The shaft is slightly narrow. The boot can’t be worn with thicker socks (e.g tube socks) and can only be worn with dress socks. The leather over the foot is slightly thin and easily crinkles. The leather of the shaft is nice. The Tecova basic rancher boot is probably a better value

Very nice, comfortable boots. The stock photo is not an accurate depiction (which I was hoping for)
These are very nice ropers. They look nice with jeans or I can wear them to the office with dress pants. It's hard to find a bad pair of Lucchese's. The fit is maybe slightly on the big side but not by much. I noticed that I had a tad bit of heel slippage when I wore these with some really thin dress socks but with my normal socks they fit fine. They didn't really require much of a break in period. I've worn them 3 or 4 times and they are already very comfortable. That being said, the chocolate color looks nothing like the stock photo on Amazon. I was actually expecting that to be the case based on the reviews and looking at the boots on the Lucchese website. I'd encourage you to do look at them on the website before buying them here.

Great boot but insole not removable
Great boot and love the fit. However. I require orthotic inserts and this boot does not have removable insoles. Gave the boots to my kid and he loves em.

Superior style, quality, and class
I'm a sonoma county / SF city kind of guy and these seems to be able to hold both spaces. They are certainly darker than the picture depicts but I find that more attractive. Less rugged and more refined although a bit of dust and play on it doesn't seem like it'll hurt. I'm confident in the quality and sturdiness and think it's a good purchase. Although just wearing them I feel a bit converted from the Frye style boots which clearly don't hold up to this quality for the price.

Amazing quality and fit
Amazing quality and fit. A bit narrow at the top, making it a bit more difficult to squeeze in, esp if you have a wide foot. For me it works out well, as these can be used with narrower jeans. I put them on and haven't taken them off all day - comfortable from the box. Mine are made in the USA which is a plus.

Narrow. Needed to get a wide size.
I sometimes need a wide size. I could not even start to get my foot down in this boot. They look way better in person than in picture. I will email probably reorder in a wider size.
