This colour is true to the box likeness. My picture speak for themselves! My natural colour is a little darker than the ‘medium brown’ on the guide, and this is one of the few colours that is recommended for darker hair, or doesn’t require pre-lightening at least. Colour really is ‘chromatic’ in that it shines beautifully in the light. Sure, ‘amethyst’ is never gonna look natural, but it’s not a flat block of red. Beware: be ultra careful in cleaning spills or spatters on sinks etc and skin as you go along - the colour is STRONG when developed but may not be evident beforehand. However, this is true of all reds I’ve used - either use Vaseline around your hairline or have wipes handy!

Used this colour for many years. It’s easy to apply, the colour stays vibrant and only ever needs reapplying when the roots grow out.

This hair dye is a really nice colour and very easy to apply, which makes the process simple and fuss-free. The quality is good and the end result looks lovely. However, it’s not very effective on grey hair, as a few greys nearly always get missed. It’s also worth being careful if you have a sore, sensitive, or dry scalp, as it can irritate and sting. Overall, I would still recommend it for the colour and ease of use, just with those points in mind.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour! So easy to follow the instructions, smells great, not like some other hair dyes and it has kept my hair feeling clean and looking shiny for over a couple of weeks now. Colouring is stunning!! Reminds me of coraline only rating a 4 though due to it nit lasting king and fading within a couple washes.

Mes racines sont devenue blonde alors que je suis brune a la base. En vérifiant la boîte (apres la pose) j'ai reçus 2 boîte périmée. Moi qui voulais refaire mes racine bin c'est rater j'ai juste jetter de l'argent par la fenêtre

Le résultat sera au rdv si vos cheveux sont totalement décolorés et sans reflets orange ou jaune. Trouver une couleur grise avec amoniaque est quasi impossible en France. Elle tient parfaitement malgré les shampoings.

My hair was an ombre from black on top to auburn at the ends when I dyed it. I wanted to dye the ends of my hair to make it an ombre to purple instead of auburn and I did get dye on the black parts of my hair and it didn't add any kind of highlights to it which is fine. I knew it was going to make the lighter parts of my hair darker so that wasn't a surprise. The color wasn't a super bright or bold purple but I wasn't expecting it to be since my hair was dark when I dyed it. The color did come out exactly as I thought it would. It looked like a dark plum color indoors and looked like a nice bright red-violet in the sunlight. The conditioner that came with the dye was amazing. My hair was so brittle and dry from being bleached and the conditioner made it feel like it was never bleached. When I was dying my hair, I did get some dye on the sink and floor but I wiped it up once I was done with my hair and there were no stains. All in all, I'd say it came out exactly as I thought it would and it was what I wanted so I'm happy.
