The media could not be loaded. Good product but had to return it as it didn't fit my whale gusher pump. The video is the pump this item does NOT fit

Not so fast there
included rubber parts for two models which confused me for a few minutes. Feasability of rebuilding old pump depends on breaking loose old stainless screws. Not always possible. Do this before ordering the rebuild kit!

Warning: Not a guaranteed fix.
The media could not be loaded. Bought to rebuild a customer’s boat. Original pump was 30 years old, on a fresh water lake. Unit was used regularly, as no other bilge pump is fitted.Trouble with kit- the aluminum housing holds a little water. That water (even fresh, in this case) will corrode the alloy, and stainless hardware (note, dissimilar metals) that mounts the flaps that come in the kit. 2 screws broke off. On was successfully drilled and re-tapped. A sealant was added.Even after careful cleaning, even sanding the corrosion, sealing, the output flap would not seal enough for pump to work as it should.I ultimately purchased a new pump.I lost hours of billable labor due to this kit.
