I bought this jump starter after giving my previous one to a close friend. I wasn’t sure if this one would measure up, but it’s actually been an upgrade in every way. The LED flashlight is super bright and came in handy one night when I had to work under the hood. I’ve already used it to jump-start my Golf GTI, and it fired up instantly without any hesitation. Im not much into writing reviews often. But this is so worth the price. Not only does it charge batteries, it also is Great for fast charging cell phones! Very easy to use!

I had a different (potentially same as the design is identical) jumper before and this is its replacement. I use my jumper on average 2-5 times a month (helping neighbors and random strangers I may encounter with it) This is absolutely fool proof, easy to use as everything is one way directional and color coded. It charges in a relatively good time, I will admit I don't let it get to "0 bars / lights" but it's more of a set it and forget it kind of thing. If I jump one or 2 cars, I let it recharge within about 3 hours. That being said this ALSO has the great function of being a battery back up as well, while not as portable as some of the more "made for pocket" on a road trip keeping your phone charged these days is a must. I've never had any issues with overheating on the unit itself but the charging blocks CAN heat up. I feel like that's more of a charging block resistance issue than the jumper itself. It does auto turn off as a safety feature once it's fully charged which give me more peace of mind to leave it alone so it can do its thing.

Although it was delivered late, this product was excellent! It came 75% charged, I attached it to the battery and it started the vehicle within 4 seconds. It comes with a charger cable, however it does not come with the plug adapter.
