Great for Normal Skin, But Not Ideal for Oily Types I've been using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for a few months now, and overall, it's a solid product, but it's important to know your skin type before buying it. This cleanser is perfect for normal, sensitive, or slightly dry skin. It’s fragrance-free, non-irritating, and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean without stripping away natural moisture. If you’re someone who just needs a gentle, daily cleanser without harsh ingredients, this is a great choice. However, for those with oily or acne-prone skin, this might not be the best option. It doesn’t do much to control excess oil, and I noticed it left a bit of a film on my face when I tried it during a more humid season. It doesn’t offer that deep-clean feeling oily skin often needs. If your skin leans oily, I’d recommend trying Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser instead it’s designed specifically to target excess sebum without being too harsh.
