Great board, great price
Really slick board for bigger ppl! Light and has a great stringer as the board is quite stiff.

These are HUGE!
As of now, I have not yet made it through a beach season without snapping all of my boogie boards in half! I ordered these Big Kahuna boards to see if they can be the combo breaker. Out of the box, I am impressed by their sheer size. They are significantly larger than any boogie board I have ever owned, but still not too large for my 8 and 9 year olds to use. I have high hopes that these will make it through the summer season, but only time will tell! So far, so good.

Big boy's toy
I like this board. It is easy to catch waves. I gave it a 4 star review instead of five because I feel like the graffic on top came off way to fast. After the first session it started to come off. I don't care about that but I feel like some others would. It has great control and decent speed. It is very buoyant so it is definitely intend for the bigger folks. Would make a great tandem board for smaller kids.

Low quality garbage that bubbles up on the surface after a trip to the beach
I have owned many other boogie boards, and decided I would get this Morey board as a better option than I could find at the box stores. That was BIG MISTAKE as the surface of this board bubbled up after only a few trips to the beach. I carry other boogie boards in the trunk of our car along with this board, and used them on the same beaches as this one, but the cheaper boards from the box stores have been holding up for years, and this Morey board did not. In addition to having to wait a full winter surf season in Hawaii for this board to be delivered, the surface bubbled up because of poor quality manufacturing, and you can see that it is just cheap styrofoam underneath a thin cover layer that is poorly glued down. The packaging warns not to leave the board in the sun, or put it in a hot car, but realistically Morey needs to make a board that will hold up to the conditions that boogie boards are used in. Yes, that includes driving to a beach and actually using a board on the beach and in the waves. See pics for the bubble that developed in the skin of the board. I suspect that Tom Morey is a good bit embarrassed over what Whammo Corp has done to the quality of the board with his name on it.

Great large-size board
Great boogie board. This was our first board of this size, and it did a great job of keeping my zero-buoyancy (6’5”, 275lbs) husband afloat. Both he and my daughter (10) had a great time catching waves. I’m going to get her a similar board in a smaller size, but I highly recommend for a bigger person.

My 9 year old son and wife were Prince and Queen of the waves!!!
I found out that my 9 year old son (62 lbs.) absolutely rocked on this board! My wife-est. 5'1"/130lbs. also out did by far all adults riding waves. So, I found the 48" Sumo for me, and gave them these boards to enjoy! There is something about having big floatation that makes wave riding fun.
