Great SUP for getting started
Highlights: This is a great intro bundle. The kayak option let us get used to the boards before learning to stand up. The boards are stable enough to balance on, maneuver easily, and SUP is every bit as fun as it looks. My family is new to SUP and these bundles have been perfect for us. We don't have much storage room so having everything fit into the carry bags is helpful, plus it makes it easy to pack them into various locations. Our first time out we set then up as kayaks and had a great time. The boards inflate easily and it doesn't take too long, just be sure you set the valve right. On the water the boards were stable for balance and still easy to maneuver. We found the same to be true while standing as well. We love taking them out every chance we get and they work great for everyone over 10. Or younger two have a hard time because of the size of the boards so if you have little ones that want to paddle on their own I suggest a smaller board for them. Other than that these boards have been exactly what we needed.

Easy to handle
I purchased this inflatable paddleboard kit in July, just before heading to stay at a friend's camp on a pond. It had been a few years since the only time I had ever used a paddleboard before this. In that time, I had a knee replacement and though recovered I was nervous about falling. I should add that I'm 59 years old. My reasoning for purchasing an INFLATABLE board was mostly logistical. I wanted to make sure I could fit it in my car and that I could carry it by myself. I'm 5'2" so smaller and lighter was a priority. I was trying to eliminate obstacles to using it. With that criteria in mind, I read reviews here and elsewhere and decided on this product.I am thrilled with my purchase! I unpacked everything when it arrived and tested the whole process before taking it on the pond, just to make sure I didn't need something from home. With the included pump, it took me a little over 5 minutes to inflate the first time. It felt solid even before getting to the recommended psi and was still easy to pick up and put in the water. My first time out I thought I'd just try to make it a short distance, sitting or on my knees to start. What I found was that it was easy to maneuver, even sitting on it, and felt sturdy. There is a fin underneath that helps keep it balanced and it is wide enough to eliminate wobbles. Not only did I make it to my destination but spent hours exploring coves and inlets of the pond. I got comfortable with the paddle. I kneeled, I stood, and on subsequent outings, I used the kayak seat that came with my kit.It was fun. It was easy. Not once did I feel like the inflatable paddleboard was getting soft. It stayed inflated and solid for a week, until vacation was over and I had to leave. It has place to tuck the included dry bag under bungees. The paddle can be used with two ends as oars, like a kayak paddle, as well as like traditional SUP paddle. It held up well when the wind picked up, too. I didn't get blown around. The color choice, for me, was a no brainer. Love the aqua blue and coral orange. I ordered some coordinated accessories, like carabiners and bungees that clip to the D rings to make it easy to be on the water for long periods of time.Overall, great SUP kit for me. I bought a purple and pink one for my daughter and she loves it, too. She's 25 with good knees. She used it most weekends through the summer, on other ponds, lakes, and rivers here in Maine. We both hope to get a few more paddleboard outings before putting them away for winter.Enjoy!

I only wish I had ordered these years ago
My wife, son and I like to camp, and take our kayaks with us. Being nearly 50, I'm growing tired of loading 3 sit-in kayaks (8, 10 and 12 ft) onto a ladder rack whenever we travel. A couple of years ago, we kicked around the idea of gettingt some inflatables, but just didn't think they would be durable enough to warrant spending money on. During our last beach trip, we saw several iSUP's and started thinking about them again. After much research, we decided to get 2 ROC iSUP's. Being a US company, plus offering a 3 year warranty were the biggest selling points that made us choose ROC.These are nothing like what I expected. The idea of a vinyl paddle board conjured up images of cheap plastic rafts from Wally World. This is certainly not the case! When inflated, the body is very rigid, and doesn't feel sticky, or cheap. The top has a foam attached where you sit/stand.We've had these boards for a few weeks now. My wife, nor I (who are both 50ish) are into any other board sports, so we are still learning to stand on them. There's a bit of a learning curve to actually standing, but its been a fun challenge. Its like riding a bike... each attempt is a little better than the last. However, when kneeling, or sitting, there is no learning curve. They're plenty stable and easy to use. My wife takes her Aussie Sheppard on the board with her now.PRO TIP: I'm 6'5" and 260 lbs.... I have to inflate mine to the 15psi max to get it rigid enough to support me when standing. If you're big, and the board flexes in the middle, or isn't rigid enough when standing on it, increase your pressure. We've been thoroughly impressed with these boards. Although we've only had them for a few weeks, the quality seems outstanding. We've experienced zero issues so far. We've inflated, and deflated them several times. We've also left them inflated for a few days at a time and lost no pressure. The paddle, and pump are also good quality. HOWEVER... manually inflating them is a chore that you should be prepared for. We used the manual pumps one time, and immediately ordered an electric 12v pump. Those last few PSI are a real workout manually. My wife was putting all of her weight into it and couldn't fill it past 10-11 psi.I still need a 3rd board, and it will without a doubt be a ROC.

Love it!
We have recently started into paddle boarding and this is the first board I have ever owned. I really like everything about it. On the water, I feel quite stable - I am 57 years old, 5'3" and 130 lbs and the board feels great on the water and handles nicely. I have previously strapped a small, hardshell cooler onto the back and did not sacrifice any stability - this is not the cooler shown in the attached picture btw. Having bungee straps on both the front and the back is a huge plus for tying things down to the board. The handles on the front and back are also quite handy for pulling into a place along the shore or pulling it out of the water when finished for the day. Just like every other paddle board, the manual pump is quite a workout as you get closer to the target pressure of 12-15 p.s.i. Strongly recommend purchasing an electric pump. We have found that pumping it up with the manual pump followed by plugging in to an electric pump to finish the inflation is the best/fastest way to go. The paddle itself is fine and works well. I really like the backpack carry-bag as it works well for my height and everything fits nicely including the manual pump. Would highly recommend!Update: Oct 2024 Still loving the paddle board! Been using it at least once a week as our season is quickly coming to an end here in Michigan. However the buckle on my dry bag broke. I reached out to the company, supplied them with the information they requested and they sent me a new bag. Great customer service!

Great first board!
I've been kayaking the rivers near me in Central Florida, seeing paddle boarders got me lookingAfter a year of looking, renting and talking to every paddle board owner I saw I settled on the ROC board..The Roc is a great first board, has the capacity I need and I'm able to kayak when needed and stand when I can. The one I have has the kayak seat and paddle included. It also fits into the included bag with room to spare. After a few times out I noticed the cam lock on the paddle started coming apart, I contacted the company and after a few emails I had a new paddle. So looking at the board, built well, looks nice, does what I need it to do.I know you can get less expensive boards, and much more expensive ones, this one fits the bill for me.Customer service was great, and fast.Very happy with the purchase.
