Wings of Starlight (Disney Fairies)

Beautiful and Nostalgic
Jumping back into Pixie Hollow felt wonderfully nostalgic. This story captured the exact essence and way of life from a beloved world. I felt like I was there every single time I had my book open. The slow pace to it was absolutely necessary and comforting for the type of spellbound events that occurred. I could not have dreamed up a better way for us long time fans to experience the relationship that unfolded between Clarion And Milori. I donāt know who to thank at Disney, but you could have not picked a better hand to write and weave the fabric of elements that pull previous Pixie Hollow history and a current point of view that Allison has interlaced. After I read this I bought it for my cousin to make a book bouquet to give to her at her high school graduation.

This tinkerbell prequel got me into reading again <3
Ordered hardcover brand new and it came ripped a little :/ but the story was wonderful. Iām 27 and havenāt enjoying reading much since high school, butāas a 2000s kid who was a huge fan of the Disney fairies moviesāthis was amazinggggg and got me interested in reading again. I will say itās not very spicy, itās more teenager than young adult. But Iād still recommend!

Great read
Loved this book. If you have seen tinker bell secrets of the wings movie you will love this book. My only complaint is has some āadult appropriateā relationships that young audience wonāt understand. Other then that it had some wants I had when I first watched the movie

Brings back childhood memories
I was a huge Tinkerbell fan when I was a child so when I heard there was a book about Queen Clarion and Lord Milorj, I had to get the book! This was a young adult romance and I loved it! There was danger, adventure, love, and friendship encompassed in this story. It broke my heart to see Queen Clarion make a difficult decision on forbidding to go to the Winter Woods. Clarion really developed through the story and became the queen she was fated to

A Tribute To Childhood
Wings of Starlight is, overall, a good book that truly felt like a heartfelt tribute to the whimsical magic of childhood, particularly for anyone who grew up enchanted by the world of Tinkerbell and fairies. The narrative is undeniably slow-paced, and I'll admit there were moments where my attention wavered. However, this deliberate pacing is ultimately one of its strengths, as the author takes exquisite time to paint a vivid picture, allowing the reader to truly immerse themselves in the imagery of the world. Every description felt carefully crafted, making the fantastical setting come alive with remarkable detail. The romance, in my opinion, was quite subtle, almost a gentle current flowing beneath the main plot rather than a crashing wave. While I understand this is a Young Adult novel, and perhaps the intention was a softer approach, it read more as a subplot than a central genre focus. Personally, I didn't mind this, as it allowed other elements of the story to shine. For readers expecting a passionate, front-and-center love story, this might be a point of consideration, but for those who appreciate a more understated romantic thread, it works well.Ultimately, my strong connection to this book lies in its nostalgic appeal. If I hadn't spent my childhood enthralled by the enchanting lore of Tinkerbell and similar fae stories, I honestly don't think I would have rated Wings of Starlight as highly. It perfectly captures that sense of wonder, friendship, and the delicate beauty of a hidden magical world, making it a delightful read for its target audience and anyone looking to revisit the magic of their youth.
