One of the best mascaras for a good balance of length and volume and curl.

More of a 3.5. I would get waterproof next time, and I don’t like waterproof mascaras. It just smudges soooo easily. Looks good when you finally get it to stay put. Very dark black, nice separating brush, but does get clumpy if you try to do extra coats to fast since it is so wet.

I am a very picky person when it comes to mascara, with that being said I am very satisfied with this mascara upon applying minimal clumping and lashes are full. My lashes are thinning due to age. I do find that after application I find smudging in the outer corners. Removal is easy.

Can we stop putting shelf worn damaged items into perfect exterior boxes and sending them out to the customer? This is the second one this week. Amz will likely not post this review as they don't like us talking about their innept packaging but I'm going to try! This is willful on the part of the seller. You have a raggedy item in your hand..you toss it in a box and send it? As for the mascara, 2 things.....this is not worth $16. It is the free sample size given out at Macys and Nordstroms. I can't justify that price for this tiny size. As a rule, the mascara itself in full size does give nice lift and buildable volume, some length. The twisty brush takes a minute to learn but after that...you have got lashes for days. In my experience it doesn't crumble or flake. I will not be buying what I thought was a true travel size, and I'll likely buy from a department store just to get the quality I'm after.
