I bought these to add to a Bmx park bike that requires a narrower tire than the common/trendy 2.4" diameter. The tread pattern is much better than a classic "knobby" tire. The best part about them is they are a flexible folding style tire with very "sticky" rubber. Even in colder temperatures, such as below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, they are somewhat soft and grippy. They are not as lightweight as a European folding tire such as a Tioga or Kenda, but they are a very good performing tire for the price point. Would definitely buy again for BMX bikes ridden outdoors on cement, skatelite, or asphalt. If your kid likes to skid their rear tire with their brakes and just wear it down indiscriminately, then this tire might not be the longest lasting. a harder compound tire might be more suitable. But these are a great value and do not show signs of hardening or becoming brittle in a short amount of time.

My son bought for his bike. It only lasted a few months of riding. Doesn't hold air and goes flat quickly
